RE: Dynasty and The American bedtime stories

I don't know about the new version, but 1980s original series also had plotline dealing with Kingdom of Moldavia, which was actually Soviet republic at the time. In 1985 season finale featured Dynasty's equivalent of Game of Thrones' Red Wedding set in the same country. Almost all the characters machinegunned at the end were miraculously resurrected at the next season's opening. So, I guess that Dynasty today, just like Dynasty four decades ago, can't be taken too seriously.
