My first 'The Weekend" post

Hello Weekenders
Well I am a fresh new member of this vast Hive community and have wandered into this community.

This weekend was an all-encompassing rollercoaster of ups and downs. With the approach of the weekend, I secured a new contract for tutoring at a rate that feels, both reasonable and respectful to my years of experience in the education field. My students and I ended the week with a stellar rapport and their mother was relieved and content that we clicked and she is free of the stress of being in all the roles simultaneously. This will not only ease the dynamics in the home but also allow her more time for business.

the dawning of Saturday morning signals the wake and caffeinate ritual, in preparation for kickboxing class. Entering the Gym I caught my reflection in the mirror and was genuinely surprised at the visual difference the last few months have gifted. I turned to give a quick gander at my butt and was equally pleased. I positioned myself in different ways enjoying the fruits of my labor until I was called out by my coach and the giggles among the boxers could not be ignored.

It took a wee turn for the worst after that
Where I reside the town is divided into zones, with different zones having an annual allotment of electricity consumption. I am in a zone where my annual is set at 4800 kilowatts, which works out to about 400 KW/month. Now the bills are divided into 3 fee structures 2 of which are really low, with the third being 3 times more expensive than the second. Which makes for a very expensive bill. That is not it, you see the usage of one's most recent bi-monthly bill is calculated and if you exceed the 4800 kW/annum allotment your price per kilowatt becomes 6x. It is a little bit of a pickle and we sat together with the owner to come up with a strategy. Needless to say, that took the wind out of my sails.

Onwards and upwards my partner suggested we go paint the town and so we did. He ribbed and poked me out of my doldrums and we had a brilliant time. We welcomed Sunday morns with more coffee, smoothies, work, and the musical delights of TIcklah, the Greyboy Allstars, and Fela Kuti w/ Ginger Baker. When the day gets low, this fella always dusts me off and gives me an encouraging butt tap to carry on, lol.

Have a wonderful week frens.

Hey there @tengolotodo Thank you for the welcome and some tips, I'll try and be more on point with the tag usage. Feeling like a pup with too big feet in the hive as I get all my understandings in line :)
