hehehehe Fireflies is a trilogy I ALMOST finished writing. hahaha Oldschool (@wrestlingdesires) is probably my #1 fan - after my daughter of course hahahaha
She ferociously guards that title - BUT Oldschool has DEFINITELY asked for the 3rd book much more than she has hahahahahahaha
so - i don'tknow - it might be a tie LOL
he's been so super patient. His anticipation of the final piece makes me want to finish - just for him! hahahaha let alone just FINISHING the trilogy! LOLOLOL
Aaah ... I have often wondered where "Like Talia, I often have fireflies in my eyes" came from, and have been meaning to ask 😍@wrestlingdesires is certainly one of the most supportive and motivational people on this platform. I am so grateful that he came across one of my posts a few months ago and had the generosity of heart and spirit to tag my post and thereby bring me into contact with both you and Wil. You three are my own trilogy of blessings 💗 My other trilogy of blessings is Calum, Felix, and Nonso who challenge me to do better week in and week out in my writing in WOTW ... I know Calumam is still there in spirit :-)... and now I have dibblersdabs who has given me the opportunity to collaborate in a new form and style of writing that pushes my boundaries yet again. What can I say...made up! Blessed! I hope Fireflies is everything you want it to be and more. I'm sure your connection with your characters is a close and solid one ... seems like even they were starting to get restless with the wait lols ... but I'm glad they had the courage to tell you😂😍

I think i know a war is coming. hahah (and they do too) and we aren't all sure how its supposed to end. and we're anxious LOL
so maybe we're just all avoiding it ?!?!?!?! LOLOLOLOLOL
but i've committed to going back and re-reading the first and second book (and first half of third) and see if it feels differently to kinda let it swell hehehehe
Are the first two books available then? On Hive? Kindle? Somewhere else that I can find them, lol? ...or are they going to be released as a trilogy straight off? I think that it is a big part of the joy of creative writing ... we experience the journey for the first time with our characters and we allow them to take their time making big decisions because we want them to be perfect for both them and the story. We also become deeply invested with how things will look for them once we release them to continue their stories and journey beyond the confines of the final pages caught between hardcover, and beyond all the 'storytelling' and showing that we can do as writers...
the first one was on amazon - but i just took it off a few months ago because i didn't like the way the publisher put it on. it wasn't like a "real" publisher - hahaha i'm not that "big time" LOL
but once i get the whole thing done - i was thinking about maybe getting an agent - just to see!
and you don't have to look for it - I'll just send it to you! hahaha
but as I go back this week,(and next probably) I'm going to be editing some more to be SURE its the way I want it. It's 99.9% the way I want it - but sometimes you miss things.
so i'll send it off to you when that's done :) i'll love you to read it!!!!
and yes - to all that you're saying about the process. When I wrote the first book - I thought it was just going to be one book. And the ending of that was so emotional for me .
I had released it on Steemit - one post at a time, and I had all these people who were enjoying it and supporting it - and the comment section of every post became ALIVE with like- what will happen? who is really doing what? who's bad? who's good? and it actually got a little heated for a bit as two clear teams developed hahahahaha
but talk about FUN!!!!!
i mean - that's all i love - the interaction with the reader. it fuels me. i love love love it.
and I SO respect my readers. For me - it was so important that they felt that I had honored their time. I cannot stand when authors will just suck you in, to drop you at the end with the laziest endings.. it is SO disrespectful!!!!
So I try very much to honor them. so yeah - hehehe that ending was hard.... and so now that I've continued you - you can imagine how much I want to honor their time after spending 3 books with me! hahahahahahahahahaha

I had no idea they harboured these feelings until they showed me! I literally just allowed the characters to take me where they wanted to go ... I knew I wanted her father to be the head of the gathering of Barons but the rest ... well that caught me off guard too 😂💗😂 will be watching for that sneaky entry of yours one day Dreems. I know we'll !LUV it when it comes.

For now, I've been desperately trying to finish a trilogy that i'm 2.5 books into. and i absolutely love this story - LOVE it. its been something i'm so proud of! but..... halfway into book 3 - they just decided to wait on me.

but I've just decided to immerse myself FULLY back into their world and take days in the week where I do nothing but listen for them, and walk alongside them, and scribble down what I see hehehehehe
so MAYBE i might jump into the pizza story - i dont' know.. hehehe i'm really so enjoying watching it unfold by all you writers - you're working so well together! it almost feels like i'm entering a secret club and i need to learn the handshake first hahahahaha know what i mean?
and that's not any air that you guys are giving off!!! you all are being extremely welcoming! but for me - i'm like - just watching and enjoying and wondering hehehehe

I kinda thought that the first time I took part but then I quickly realised that it only feels that way from the outside because those on the inside are all enjoying the process so much, everybody is generous of their support and love for each others writing and storylines and I happen to think that we all write well together too 💗 We genuinely enjoy each other's works and spark off each other's creativity each week. If you get a chance once your characters have finished telling you their story, please feel free to jump in. You know you will be welcomed with open arms and you will feel as if you have been part of the club from day 1! 😍

I can't take all the credit lol. One of the other writers created her in passing as a 'walk on' early on in the story, but I decided to name her and give her a story lols
That one moment has grown into a whole story arc. Delilah is shaping up to be a major factor in all of this! <3

I've noticed similar strange things happen occasionally when I follow someone. Or I'll get a notification that someone followed then immediately unfollowed me three times in a row. Not exactly sure how it happens!
