Pokras Lampas, a young Russian calligrapher known for his giant works in the style of calligraphy and graffiti, could not resist the trend at NFT and this week put up a tokenized photo of his work "Transition" made at Chirkei hydroelectric power plant, the largest in the North Caucasus, at a Foundation auction.

As a result of the bidding, the photo was purchased for $28,700 in Ethereum.

In his blog on instagram, the artist commented that:

A work whose original is painted on canvas, digitized and corrected for projection, then projected onto a physical object, digitized again and eventually sold as a virtual token for ethereum, the production of which consumes that electricity.
It seems to me that everything came together perfectly!

The scale of the work is really impressive and selling it as NFT looks quite logical.
