Football in some localities is not fun but fight, why??

OMG..😱
For such a while i haven't done this, but today this was a huge task..

Here i was trying to create some fun with the children after a long work at a construction site, though it was little but really took us much time than expected.

Immediately, i had a call that our team were to play against our neighboring team. This was a match we had long waited for, but since they were brutal as we did heard of them, we demanded for enough time to prepare well, to avoid violence. So they agreed but no day was fixed, we all left that day back to our homes, hoping it would be communicated to us..
To our surprise, we all received the information that same day and we disagreed 'cause we weren't broom or sweeper which you can just walk in and take it anytime and anyhow..(what a bombshell, i mean who does that?).. Then as we argued, we were consoled and after much words we decided to go being that they were arrogant and violent and so that they will not start any fight.
As though we were prepared, though we were mentally but not everyone, so we left and came back before the time and did some warm up to make ourselves fit.

Soon, the match begun, though i couldn't function because i was too tired, but i tried a little as defender, and 35mins we had a goal, and all of us were exited but couldn't show it (we all thought they will raise issues and fight). Few mins later they equalized and we were all happy including them as well...

Peeeeeeemm!!! First half ended draw, no fight...exiting but afraid..

Oh no!! Screemed i on the bench, because i left the field immediately as we had our first goal to be replaced (i was exhausted)..
Making the whole story short, we had another goal through our first free kick and boom i was almost at the gate for security purpose.. 😂😂 but no fight, sooner it became fun in the field both teams were smiling and enjoying themselves, i was shocked and i went back to my sit, and immediately the match ended 2:1..

Being the finals we took the cup, but we allowed them to take some captures with it, as they made it to the finals, while we went to clean ourselves to return and there was no fight, the both teams were happy.

It marveled me, was it that it was our fear of not offending them, or starting any fight that led to this? Was it to be played with fear?It's wrong oo. We were lucky that day. What a game...what am saying in essence is that

• It's not about hate but love..
• It's not about knowing your opponents but it's about knowing yourself.. And
• It's not for fight but for fun and more.
