Hey guys this is now the most important thing in the open market now as it concerns those with the anticipation for white cola jobs…
A wise man once said that the knowledge, idea or skill that you have in you but has not put it to practice is as good as useless and as though you had no knowledge at all...
As life goes by every day, things change and will continue to be like that. No doubt that education has helped us all and has aid a lot of things, but at the same time most people have now let go what they have on the inside of them as potentials, and have so depended on what the world has to offer them, forgetting that their work here was to see what they can offer life or the world.
I so much love them that have seen their potentials and have developed themselves to see how they can be of help to the world, changing the status and transforming lives around the globe.
This was the essence of education, to help us discover what we have inside us. While most people have, most have not, and this has become a problem now…
A young graduate is going to seek for a job in a construction company, and what he knows is basically theories with no iota of practical experience, and simply because he graduated with a high grade makes him feel he is qualified to get any job of his choice. Fair enough the world has it way of making you learn the things you literally avoided, letting you take the class again, leading to another extra year in the field with extra charges. This is someone with cash to pave his ways out of failure, but in this situation, he was very anxious…
The first thing that could come out of the HR after his name was “WHAT CAN YOU DO???”
Hahahaha….(an unexpected question?) wow! This is how he thinks on the inside, I guess…
This question came like a thieve in the night...hahaha😂😂😂
This question made my friend stumble in his mind for as long as you started reading this post from the beginning. Quite unfortunate, this has been the question for the people that had come and gone before his turn, but he couldn’t solve the puzzle…
Then, he was taken to the field for hime to showcase what he can do if he was to be contracted as a staff there and at the end of the day, he lost the job due to lack of skills and practical knowledge to help him and so did he go…
So what am I saying in essence?
The world has outgrown the state of having skills in the head and grades on paper and cannot do anything with the skills you've acquired and so what it needs is what we can do…
In brief, I feel that if we let go of what the world has for us and instead seek for what to do for the world, I think this world will be a better place. As for my friend, He missed the opportunity and was highly ashamed as he went seeking for another.
To me, i feel we should get pass this ideology of what we've got on the paper and seek to do more with our hands...
