How To Protect Yourself Against Crypto Hackers And Scammers

Since the invention of Blockchain technology, the issue of security and privacy has been a crucial matter of discussion. At one point, people became scared of investing into any Blockchain technologies until recently when higher security measures were put in place to limit vulnerability of access by unauthorized people. As security systems are being upgraded, hackers are finding new ways to get to people and this comes through deceit to access a site that links our personal information. In the past I have heard stories of people whose lifetime savings got wiped off in just a few moments of negligence, and this brings the issue of whether or not to trust this technology.

I have a few ways to ensure my sensitive information is secured, all thanks to the recent upgrade in technology that allows even a more secure way to save our personal information.
1.AVOID CLICKING ON RANDOM LINKS
The passwords generated by the hive Blockchain are strong strings of words that cannot be guessed by hackers. In order to get a victim, hackers entice them with bonuses for doing nothing with a link leading to nowhere but disaster. I avoid clicking on links that I do not trust, especially links with promises that seem so good to be true. I'm not greedy, mostly I allow it to slide.

2.I'M CAREFUL ABOUT WHERE I STORE MY PASSWORDS
I stopped saving my passwords in my email when I realized it's easier to hack one's email. Most often I save my password offline, I write them down in a note and keep it somewhere safe. The online space is too public for me to save my sensitive details there except if it has strong security and requires an additional information before one can access the site. The few sites that require I saved information, I ensured I generated a strong password that sometimes I need to verify sometimes to be sure all the characters and symbols used are in the right places.

3.SET TWO-WAY AUTHORISATION
It's easier to cross the first step but it becomes tougher on the second step. I have learned to set two-way authorisation in almost everything that allows that feature. Hackers hardly break into sites that have multiple authorisation systems; they may succeed in the first but may never have access to the second. With the recent security upgrade, users are alerted of suspected activities on emails, one can quickly respond to it.

4.FINALLY, NOT GREEDY OF GAIN
Scammers most often succeed with people who are greedy for gain. If growing gradually becomes a problem, greed starts to set in and scammers use that as an advantage to scam people of the little they have. I chose to work hard and grow slowly, the short route is often a path leading to disasters.
