Google Jigsaw‘s anti-censorship terrorism AI bot| Will it be a woke bot?

With the world tilting the way it is and actual hate speech on the internet causing and propagating wars like what we saw on Facebook. Advertisers have been trusting these websites to be able to deal with terrorists that might post on platforms.

The issue is those small companies do not have the luxury of having people go through the content to pick out what might be a security risk, that is why Google and its competition Meta had been working on an Artificial Intelligence bot that can do that job for small companies.

A unit was made to handle this project and it was named Jigsaw. The unit worked as a part of Google but they had help with the United Nations initiative Tech Against Terrorism. The UN initiative had been helping to control terrorist activity online and with Jigsaw they managed to make this free tool for the censorship of harmful content.

The reason this has become such a pressing issue is that the United States and the United Kingdom have been pushing for a while to remove harmful content from the internet. It could be illegal if it is seen as a terrorist in nature, has extreme and has an element of physical harm and danger.

The CEO (Yasmin Green) of Jigsaw said that they are doing this for small companies because they do not have people to handle enforcing those laws.

Green explained that the internet needs to be healthy and it goes beyond just small companies.

Jigsaw is supported by GIFCT which was an NGO made by Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and YoutTube in 2017.

This is not the first project by the developers as they had successfully removed the Proud Boys Facebook.

But what do you think? To me, this seems like a woke bot sent to destroy communication. Facebook of all social media has been working to keep claims of actual terrorist activities and hate speech away but it has had little or no success and is getting into court cases.

I think the apocalyptic future of finance can easily get drained down this route also. Saying what is against their agenda will render your accounts useless.
