ECOBANKER Project - Additional Benefits Information

So for those of you keeping up, you can always check @ecobanker blog, where I will work to reblog all the official posts ever made about this project, since I am constantly writing about 100 different things on my blog.

There is much progress and great news about our Land Backed Project!

Firstly, we have continued to meet with the lawyer and now an accountant, our process is solid and moving forward. At such time as I have more information about the team members and whether or not they will want money or tokens or a mix of these for payment for their absolutely essential services, I will make a post about it.

Secondly, I have found a potential architect to work with the project. More on this later this month when he comes and visits the property and we talk more.

Membership tiers

Based on the most recent meeting among our team, and the relevant laws, we are considering (heavily) the establishment of two tiers of investment - anonymous and 'Full' membership in the project.

Due to the nature of the technology, and the relevant laws or lack thereof pertaining to its revolutionary decentralized nature, we have found this to be a very interesting solution, and as always, I want feedback from you, those of you interested enough to be reading these posts.

Anonymous members

These members will be anyone holding the final hive-engine tokens, with no further restrictions they will participate in the following benefits:

Dividends Payments

Anonymous members will have a local, named representative appointed on their behalf, as per the relevant statutes.

Full Members

Full members will be holders who will be required to submit privately to me a photocopy of their passport document, which has all the relevant information we need. I am still confirming if national ID paperwork will work for this, if a passport is unavailable. This information will be introduced into our internal bookkeeping and not automatically reported to the Chamber of Commerce, though I still need more information about who can get that information and why, or in what cases we will be forced to reveal that information to the local government authorities.

Including the benefits of the anonymous tier, Full Members will also be able to participate in:

Token Governance Process

This definitely includes decisions about dividends and reinvestment as well as possible expansion, and will also likely contain decisions based on aesthetics, marketing, mission and longevity.

VIP Service Benefits

This class of benefits I am still unsure about, and we can dynamically decide about these such things (full members decisions). It is likely anonyomous members can get some of these benefits (by engaging in a 'proof of keys' activity), but that Full members will enjoy more VIP benefits. Again, To Be Determined.

Revealing Identity

I know that revealing your identity is a very 'anti-crypto' thing, and we don't need nor do I expect every investor to do it, and of course that is why we will have the anonymous tier with sizeable benefits in its own right. Please feel free to give all your feedback about this, of course it is up to us to give a balance between the benefits received between each tier.

In this vein, by digging around in the relevant laws, I have discovered an additional side benefit of being a Full Member - possible residency eligibility for the country of Colombia.

Non residents must update their tourist visas every month after 3 months initial visa, which is given out automatically to people from USA and Europe, but which residents of some countries may have to apply for before their first visit. Additionally, there is a maximum of 6 months per year a person can be on a tourist visa, and while student visas are easy to get, all of the constant reapplication is an expensive and time consuming process taking place in the capital city of Bogota, which is not where I would recommend spending a lot of time, personally.

So any member who has over $100,000 USD in our tokens would be eligible for a Colombian Residency, with no limit as to the number of days or entries into Colombia.

This will likely be no one at the start, but as the value of our asset-backed enterprise project grows, and as the dollar continues to devalue itself, I think that before long this could be an honest and easy way to obtain the means to travel freely within Colombia without restrictions.

Here are the requirements:

With some caveats, spouses, children and parents of the investor are also authorized for residency under the same $100,000 dollar limit. There is a $475 dollar fee for this process per beneficiary (child/spouse/parent)

I think it likely that we could offer this as a service if and when anyone becomes eligible, to streamline the process for any visitor who is likely unfamiliar with Colombian laws.

All in all I continue to be extremely excited about the prospects of this project, we are on solid legal foundations, and we continue to move forward on all fronts!
