On the road again!

Today I woke up early and did my excercises, I have added the 'speed skater' to my routine, which I will likely talk about more another day.

But today I am hitting the road, early, so my writing will have to be the thumb-typed kind while I sit on the bus, but before it hits those mountain curves.

Its been a busy week, and it looks like it could stay that way, there is a lot of work to do for someone who is looking to improve themselves and the world around themselves.

Its nice to be social, in fact in the tropics its much more expected. To 'drink a coffee and chat' - this is how you get to know the people in your community. It feels different than in the US, just the fact of a central park to go to and see people, a central meeting place.

But for me the best way to 'do both' is bring work to the park, and never stop pushing.

We visited our favorite guy at the chamber of commerce, we've been doing paperwork like crazy, working to keep everything up to date and understand and build out an annual workflow into our businesses and our lives.

Some people say Colombia is a bureaucratic nightmare, I guess its all in how you look at it. Having trusted advisors is important, that is for sure.

Now that the bus is taking off, I am thinking again of Roger Waters conclusion to the Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking album (listen to the whole thing if you can) - "On the Road Again".

Here it is from youtube, 44 minutes of musical and individual genius.

Travel is a great way to 'recognize', many things, about yourself, about others, about the world.

And I'm not talking about airplane travel around the world. I'm talking about road trip, hitchhike, bus terminal type travel - crawling your way across this vast world full of humans and other mysteries.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to check in tomorrow, but know, I'll be working hard.

Freedom and Friendship

Colombia is an amazing place, and Colombians are great people.
The bureaucracy thing is global, I think that anyone who has to do paperwork wherever they are will inevitably complain, and being that in many occasions it is due to our fault.

But you have to take things from a positive perspective and I think that's what you want to convey by relating your anecdotes of the day.

Btw, excellent choice of background music, best regards!

I suppose it's similar to Spain... the same blood runs through both nations... lol... I envy you for your patience! :) :)
