EDSvote update #1 | We've already collected 50k HP delegations!!

Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

How does it work?

EDS tokens are 2 decimals and delegating under 15HP will not be rewarded because the bot can not issue a 3-decimal EDS reward

Report #1

We have had a fantastic 1 full week for EDSvote with over 45k HP being delegated to @eds-vote. Earnings from curation have not started to come in yet at full pace but I decided to issue out 25 EDS as rewards for this 1st week and starting next week, we'll do it all legit and to the model.

The table is simple and basic showing the most important numbers you are interested in. The curation reward of 1% is true but most of our delegations arrived later in the week and this 9.26 HIVE has been earned from roughly 7-8k HP. AT 45k, I'd ballpark a week's income of 75 HP and mint half that amount would be issued in EDS tokens for next week.

We've got the ball rolling, let's see how fast we can snowball this SOB!

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future. Now the charts are nothing this week because we only have 1 weeks of results to work from but i thought, i'd show them anyway.

This week displays the amount of incoming HP delegations @eds-vote receives, 45k is a good place to start i think 😲

This one will increase for sure for the first of next week. If we're earning 1% of HP curation, it's already game over. lol. As new delegations come in, this APY will never be 100% correct but as EDSvote matures, grows and stabilizes, the APY will be more accurate. (not that it ever be a million miles off)

Again, the same as with the curation APY, this will increase next week. We're currently pulling in 6-7 HP a day and that will continue to increase because of future rewards using a higher HP balance. This time next week, we should be earning around 10+ HP a day. This is because rewards come 7 days after votes are made.

As explained above, I decided to mint 25 EDS tokens this week. Next week, the number should be higher and we'll stabilize the following week unless we get a huge delegation.

Round-Up

The first week has been amazing. Collecting up 50k in HP for the first week is way better than I expected. I was low-key hoping for 20k so 50k blows my mind. It's fantastic to see so much support for EDS.

Going forward, I plan to release this update each Wednesday. All the EDSvote numbers are crunched and rewards are issued on Monday but the update will be uploaded on Wednesdays because that is when I have time to do it. I have just remembered this minute that I said I would add a table to show who is delegating, I will add that in for next week and we'll see who our biggest (and richest) EDSvote fans are 😁
