New Saturday Savers Club Feature: Discord Chat

Last week, @hoosie asked whether The Saturday Savers Club could have a channel where everyone can discuss investments and contribute to learning about the different tokens, their pros and cons etc. We already have the #eddie-earner channel in the SPinvest discord, so we are going to start there.
There are a few ground rules:
- The SPI family motto is Get Rich Slowly. This covers EDS and EDSM, the home tokens for the Saturday Savers Club, as well as SPI, LBI and CL. The bottom line is that we are looking for well-researched options which bring a steady income. Good options will have an identifiable and easily accessible team (with emphasis on more than one person involved), a clear plan and use case for the token, and transparency and accountability through regular reporting.
- Individual members are free (of course they are) to publish guides to tokens under their own account - and any number of members can do that.
@hoosie has suggested looking at LOLZ to start and maybe one or two others. If you don't know much (or anything) about EDS or EDSM, I would suggest that those two tokens would also be a good starting place:
- Can we answer the questions above for each of the tokens?
- What has the performance of those three tokens been like?
- What are the pros and cons of each of the tokens?
- What are the risks involved with each of them and how could the risks be managed?

The quickest way to get any queries about payments resolved is to post a message in the #eddie-earner channel of the SPinvest discord: https://discord.gg/njDb8Gnh and tag @silverstackeruk. Most problems that happen are technical bugs and are quickly resolved once we know about them. Housekeeping for @eddie-earner, EDS and EDSM is usually done on Monday UTC.

Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.
They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

My Savings target would be 1k HBD this year. That would be awesome, it would be even more awesome if that could hit 10k, but I am not sure I would be able to hit that no matter what xD

Another great week for me as I have been on leo dex buying up a storm with folks selling some great tokens for cheap. I am running out of Hive to buy more (groan)
so I will have to do some more posting to make some more. HBD still running at 20% is great just set it and forget it and come back a month later and collect it.
As for the discord chat sounds like a great plan, as I have one I will mention in there
later which pays dividends every day.
Next week get to start the garden so looking forward to that spring is finally here.

To answer @shanibeer question at the beginning. My strategy is not significantly affected my market conditions at the moment as my goal is mainly to build hive power slowly each week. However, what I can say is that now may be a good time to buy hive at a discounted price.

It looks like the current miners have sold out.
A new one at a lower price will be issued in the next few weeks, so you will be able to keep stacking 🙂
Will the miner be less powerful at a lower price then? How will that work?
What's been published at the moment is that miners will have the same APY, that is for every 10 HIVE worth of miners you own, you will mine the equivalent of 2 EDS over the course of a year. If you only own 1 HIVE worth of miners, then you will mine approximately .23 EDS over the course of a year.
The launch post will have the final details of how the new miner will work.
That makes sense. So if I have 10 of a 1 HIVE miner it's the same as 1 EDSM.
So the thought of having "more" miners is just an illusion. xD
But it does make it easier for people to get into it.

This week I have reached 2140 HIVE in my savings.
Also added 45 HIVE and 1 million starbits. I think great.
My best strategy is to buy 1 million starbits and earn 10,000 STARBITS per day.

I am so tempted to just turn HBD into liquid Hive due to the low prices and I realized that I turned too much HBD. I guess I will have to make sure to save enough for the monthly add I have for my saturday saver's plan.

I'm still fighting the difficulties of a bear market but I'm not giving up this week I managed to save 3.57 HBD. I hope things improve and I achieve my goal by the end of the year.
