Well Autumn is here and the temperatures are falling. I will be bringing in the last of the tomatoes to ripen on the window-sill - not such a good crop this year but my, they were delicious! Nothing in the shops to beat them! There is lots of tidying to do in the garden and preparations for the winter. With the nights drawing in, it's hard to get everything in while there is light to see! How's your week been?

EDSMM Contests
Last week, the challenge was to comment on the proposal for an automated savings subscription next year. We had LOTS of comments and lots of different opinions! Thank you everyone. I have given three options to @silverstackeruk to check the feasibility and how much work would be involved. Once we have that information, I'll be sharing the feasible options with you for your views - watch out for that in the coming few weeks.
We had eleven comments about the idea and lots of discussion between members - check last week's post if you want to catch up on the ideas, and feel free to add your thoughts. Everyone went into the Wheel of Names and we have a winner: @vaynard86 - Hurrah! Check your wallet!

THIS WEEK'S CONTEST
It's HIVE POWER UP DAY on Saturday 1 October and the end of the third quarter of the year on Friday 30 September. This week's contest is to tell us whether you are making any changes to your savings plans for the last quarter of the year. AS always, you can tell us in a comment, or link a post - whichever works for you 🙂.
(Next week, the contest will be to link your HPUD or regular savings posts with your three quarter year review - what's worked, what's gone wrong and what have you learned.)

My savings in Hive are not bad considering how little time I have, but I hope they improve. Outside of Hive, inflation is doing a lot of damage, so I do what I can.

HP last week stands at 435, today it has risen to 459 with a delta to target of 318. I am so glad I have joined this community to be more aware of my saving and saving together can be so much fun.

I plan to continue to do 100% Power Up on all posts for quite some time more, to grow my account as much as I possibly can. The only thing that I'm doing differently now is putting acquiring as many and as much of the various income tokens (dividend-paying and miner tokens) on my list as one of my top Hive Goals, right along with growing my HP and HBD in Savings. This is part of the creation of my Passive Income Machine. It's going quite well so far, and the pace is picking up nicely!
I'm game for a savings quiz, though I don't really have a clear idea of how that would look, so I can't speak about it too much yet. It sounds intriguing!

What do you think about the automated savings subscription idea? (Most of the discussion is on last week's post).
I don't think I will be changing my goals and I will try to make sure I do get my adds in. However, if I don't get it, then I still got the final goal due to the additional adds that I did earlier in the year.

My passive LEO income is doing well at around +5.81 LEO/day (174/month) which is really helpful for LPUD - otherwise was an average week for me at best.
And thats incredible news on the EDSMMs - they have gone so quickly !

I just scheduled a post to publish later today with my revised goals, lol, since I just also posted about something else, I didn't want my posts to be too close together. But I did finally write another report!
Re: updated goals, I am dropping the finish-French-textbook goal (that is SO not happening before the end of the year 😅), and adding a Hive Power goal. I'm less than 100 HBD away from my keyboard funds goal! 😃
