Today is THE day!

Yes, Saturday Savers, this is the week that you vote for the Saver of the Year Awards.

Now, before we get to that: a few kind souls nominated @shanibeer which is very nice and much appreciated! 🤗 But @shanibeer is not eligible for the award ... and she is donating the prizes 😁. The big prize for @shanibeer is seeing a successful savers club and everyone working their way towards their goals.

I've listed the six nominations below with the reasons that people gave for their nominations (you can check the nominations in last week's post).

You can Vote Here for your first, second and third choices as Savers of the Year. Voting will be open until 6pm UTC on Friday 30 December 2022 (the deadline on this post). The winners will be announced on Saturday 31 December 2022.

EDSMM Contests

Last week, the challenge was to nominate people as savers of the year.

Earn SPI!

Would you like to be a content creator for the @spinvest account. We're looking for one or two people who would like to write a regular post. Here's what it involves:

• commit to a regular post (weekly, monthly, or for six weeks, to suit you).
• write a post between 300-500 words long with the aim of engaging people on the @spinvest account under your own name.
• posts can be about anything that interests you - crypto, general finance, saving, investing, your journey, commentary or profile of Hive Engine tokens or other cryptocurrencies.
• respond to comments (I suggest you use your own account to do this, so you're also building your own network; any technical questions about SPI would be answered by @spinvest, so there's no need to worry about that).

We pay 5 SPI for every post published. If you have an idea and you'd like to chat about it, get in touch with me on discord: @shanibeer#7523.

We want to increase awareness and engagement of SPI and all the tokens in the family (LBI, CL, EDS, EDSM and EDSMM), so it would be good to have a variety of writers writing about different things that would appeal to different people. We also want to relieve @silverstackeruk of writing posts so that he can concentrate on building the different funds for everyone.

If you wanted to, you could write a set of six posts in advance that could be posted at later agreed dates - maybe something you could do over the holidays when you want an escape 😜.

Ground Rules:

• The SPI family motto is Get Rich Slowly. This covers EDS, EDSM and EDSMM, the home tokens for the Saturday Savers Club, as well as SPI, LBI and CL. The bottom line is that we are looking for well-researched options which bring a steady income. Good options will have an identifiable and easily accessible team (with emphasis on more than one person involved), a clear plan and use case for the token, and transparency and accountability through regular reporting.
• Individual members are free (of course they are) to publish guides to tokens under their own account - and any number of members can do that.
