Hello Everyone,
Here we are at the last day and the last week of the Saturday Savers Club 365 Challenge. It's been a great year with a tremendous growth in the numbers starting to save, lots joining us through the year, and some who have been with us through thick and thin!
If you made it with us, you should have 667.95 saved in whatever currency you were saving in. Next year's Saturday Savers Club starts on Saturday 7 January 2023. See you there!
Saver of the Year!
We had six people nominated for Saver of the Year - that was a great clutch of savers and thank you to everyone who nominated candidates. Sixteen people voted, it was amazingly close, but thanks to the wonders of technology we have the winners:

Last EDSMM Contest of the Year
This is a simple one - write a review of your savings year. It can be a separate post any time during the week or part of your HPUD post for 1 January. We're always really interested to hear about what you learned through the year, as well as the progress you made, and any ideas for how you would do things differently in the future.
Remember to upvote each other's savings posts (I would add to make sure you upvote the Saturday Savers Club post, too) and leave a little comment, that's always motivating!
Earn SPI!
Would you like to be a content creator for the @spinvest account. We're looking for one or two people who would like to write a regular post. Here's what it involves:
- commit to a regular post (weekly, monthly, or for six weeks, to suit you).
- write a post between 300-500 words long with the aim of engaging people on the @spinvest account under your own name.
- posts can be about anything that interests you - crypto, general finance, saving, investing, your journey, commentary or profile of Hive Engine tokens or other cryptocurrencies.
- respond to comments (I suggest you use your own account to do this, so you're also building your own network; any technical questions about SPI would be answered by @spinvest, so there's no need to worry about that).
We pay 5 SPI for every post published. If you have an idea and you'd like to chat about it, get in touch with me on discord: @shanibeer#7523.
We want to increase awareness and engagement of SPI and all the tokens in the family (LBI, CL, EDS, EDSM and EDSMM), so it would be good to have a variety of writers writing about different things that would appeal to different people. We also want to relieve @silverstackeruk of writing posts so that he can concentrate on building the different funds for everyone.
If you wanted to, you could write a set of six posts in advance that could be posted at later agreed dates - maybe something you could do over the holidays when you want an escape 😜.

Ground Rules:
- The SPI family motto is Get Rich Slowly. This covers EDS, EDSM and EDSMM, the home tokens for the Saturday Savers Club, as well as SPI, LBI and CL. The bottom line is that we are looking for well-researched options which bring a steady income. Good options will have an identifiable and easily accessible team (with emphasis on more than one person involved), a clear plan and use case for the token, and transparency and accountability through regular reporting.
- Individual members are free (of course they are) to publish guides to tokens under their own account - and any number of members can do that.

Most problems that happen are technical bugs and are quickly resolved once we know about them. Housekeeping for @eddie-earner, EDS, EDSM and EDSMM is usually done on Monday UTC.

It's Week 53 on our savings plan and we've added and powered up 25.34 HIVE to @susie-savers wallet - we're up to 667.95 HIVE already plus curation rewards! 🤑 Actually, the @susie-saver account is showing a little more because of posting and curation rewards: just over 700 HIVE POWER.

I’m half way writing my goals for L2 tokens for 2023, but these are very loose. Main ones will be alive, leomm and something else I can’t remember already 😂

Helping each other, well pushing others when they are down or lose focus, share tips and tricks, all that sort of stuff😎
LeoMM is Leo Mega Miner and ‘mine’s Leo, although not like other miners I know mine tokens. AliveM for example sends me tiny amounts of tokens every single day in quantities corresponding to my stake. LeoMM sends me random amounts at random intervals and from what I understand there is draw every so often and only selected miners receive some Leo tokens.
That is how they all work, and I think the draw is every hour. Oh you AliveM as well. Oh good for you, I have 3 I think.
And I was being nosey in your wallet ...
You have 3 EDSMM which is great BUT you need to stake them to start mining.
Put those wee buggers to work!
AliveM have no draws. I get tokens every day on the clock 😁
Be nosy all you want Eddie. No secrets in blockchain. I spend a lot of time looking at peeps wallets for the learning purposes. That’s how I learned about some miners 😜

I've been powering up since I did the big cash out to buy the keyboard to round out the year. I'll have to figure out what I want my goals for next year to be...
First, I did a fabulous job all year with my savings even though I didn't save the amount indicated on the Savers Chart. I had to recalculate (as my navigation system tells me when I go off course):
2022 GOAL: 667.95 HBD
2922 Actual Amount Saved: 500 HBD Woohoo...
My plan is to utilize it offsite.
Starting over on Saturday, Jan 7th, so will definitely see you there with a new plan for 2023.
Congratulatoins to: 1st Place: @hoosie; and 2nd Place: @mypathtofire for your wins in the SAVER of the YEAR! You two are are awesome inspirations and examples. I hope to do better in 2023, but have several offline issues to deal with. But I will be around hopefully each week.

I truly appreciate all the advice, suggestions, and support by members of the Savers Club in 2022. Some not only supported my savings content, but ventured out to to view my other passions writing short story fiction, freewriting, and various art projects. You don't know what it means to me.

Hey friends, yesterday @hoosie told me about the Saturday Savers Club and your goal of getting people rich slowly, so I joined the 365 dais savings challenge by powering up 0.01 Hive. With my goal to join HPUM and HPUD, I powered up 11.01 Hive in total today.

Yes, to setting a goal - you only need to have one, some people like to have more. You work on it through the year and you can write a post each week if you want to, or you can just report your progress in the comments in the weekly savings post. Some people find the weekly post helpful (and it brings some rewards), others do a monthly post (often with HPUD), or a quarterly review. It's very flexible so you can choose what works for you.

hello! unfortunately I had to leave the game in the middle since my income was not high enough to catch up with the challenges, also I left hive for 4 months :( my goal was to use the savings to become independent and leave my parents' house , or buy what I need in household objects for a future move. I hope this year the challenge will be repeated and I will be able to meet it because my goal will remain the same!

While I didn't reach my HP or HBD in Savings goals this time around, I still did very well indeed! Here is my latest goals-and-progress post, with a short review of the year since I started keeping track seven months ago. I added in my next short-term goals, too. I learned the incredible importance of showing up every single day to learn, contribute, build, grow, and engage, and consistently setting new goals each week. My account is growing very quickly now, and it is because of my deep passion, commitment, dedication, determination, and tenacity for our glorious Hive Blockchain Ecosystem! I didn't do the 365 last year but will attempt it this year (2023). I did however did very well with my goals, I met & exceeded my goals in all but one area. This year I have learned a lot in Hive and I have managed to go from 300 HP to 1492 HP achieving my initial goal. My raffle went well but not how I would have liked so this year I will change the way it is run and I hope you all participate. A track; there will be token, there will be dividends and lots of fun.

Although I joined midway through the year, I learnt heaps and hit my initial goals of 2500 HP and 2500 LP, so I revised them to 3000 and hit them at the end of the year!
I made massive strides in learning about tokens, and most importantly during December I proved to myself that I can power up daily and so the 365 day savings plan...

My main goal is getting to the top 5000 Hivians on HP, so I'm "saving" towards that using monthly power-up days! Need to start earning enough to cover a daily power-up, maybe that should be my second goal!
They would be cracking goals. Powering up daily is sweet and helps you grow quicker, a win win!

Hello, happy new year and my congratulations to this club of savers, you all have a millionaire mind, for this year I wish you to reach all your proposed goals in the best possible harmony.
A few days ago I read a tui from @lauramica who said she had reached her proposed goal in savings for last year, I thought she had done it without guidance and without any club but today when I read her last post I found out how she did it, that motivates me to want to participate.
In silence I have been saving and doing power up but without any fixed goal, just follow , but in group it is easier to achieve the goals and if you have a concrete number it is better @eddie-earner
