Hello, EDSer's. I've been looking around hive-engine lately, looking at miners, in particular, to see what sort of other projects have them. From what i can see, 99% of miners are connected to a tribe and they mint new tribe tokens like the way LEO miners mint new LEO. There are other examples of miners, the first one that comes to mind are Farmer Farmer "defi" tokens. Does anyone remember this failed project where we bought Farm tokens that minted Farm Gov tokens. What a waste of good code, this project was clearly just a money grab. Anyways, there are other types of miners on hive-engine but none with noting.

This brings us to EDSM (sold out) and EDSMM (on sale). I dont often pat myself on the back but these miners are no question the best miners on HIVE. Why? Because they mint EDS tokens and EDS tokens are pegged to 1 HIVE each making these the only miners the mint HIVE even if in a backwards way through EDS tokens. And then, and then on top of that, holding EDS tokens will pay out a 28% APY HIVE income each week, each Monday. So EDS miner will mint tokens backed to 1 HIVE each and then pay you a 28% APY income in HIVE each week just to hold them, no staking required.

Sounds too good to be true?

Maybe yes, but that is the reality of the EDS project. When first launched, the APY was 12% and it has increased by a fractional amount most weeks, then we released EDS miners and now we are at 28% APY. It's not that hard to do if you make a plan, stick to a set of rules and then do it for a long time without changing anything, the longer the better. Check it out

What do you get for investing in tribe token miners? Tribe tokens that are worth....nothing and probally worth less in 3 months' time and 6 months time and 12 months' time as they turn into dust making your tribe miners worthless as well. Wake up and smell the coffee! There are maybe 5-7 decent tribes that are active and being worked on and the rest are either dead are on their way. Even the ones that are actively building are still losing money on their tokens so being busy and shilling does not guarantee gains. Being backed and earning interest in the backed token is stable as fcuk and has a much better chance of turning an ROI compared to crossing your fingers and investing in hope.

Good old EDS will always be worth 1 HIVE each. I mean it will never go up but it'll never go down either. I'll probally never offer a buyback as that would require powering down HIVE and that's not in the set of rules. I think with its current APY, there should always be someone willing to pay 1 HIVE for the income payments. We are not in a hurry 🐢

There you go, this is me shitting on every other mining token on hive-engine. Miners are issued to get money, they will say it's for paying this and that, servers, hosting and everyone will say to get developers but we rarely see these things come to reality. 100% of EDS, EDSM and EDSMM token sales have been powered up to the @eddie-earner wallet and each EDS minted by a miner is backed by 1 HP in the wallet. You can see the wallet has over 61k HP and that there are 26k EDS tokens in circulation, I think we are good on the 1-1 peg. You can see it, nothing is hidden with EDS, its model is so simple an 8-year-old could do it.

I guess there is not really a market for miners and EDS is only killing the rest just because the rest are shit based on the tokens they are mining. Maybe there are some good ones out there that I missed, if you know then please share them below. I probally say they are bullshit anyway but there could be something good out there only known to a few, maybe you.
