Paying bills late can cost you a lot of money - We Are Alive IAAC #152 - October 16, 2021
Hello friends of the community, yesterday I could not post due to problems with my broadband connection, but now we are back, today a day with drizzle in my town and a maximum of 31°C.
It happens to many of us that for some reason we can't or we forget to pay a bill within the due date, when this happens we are charged a small interest or a late payment surcharge, in extreme cases we go up to two months without paying a utility and they cut off our service. Then we have to pay for the reconnection, all this adds up month by month, no matter how small the charge is, it always adds up and at the end of the month or year this amount becomes very large, without realizing it we are losing money or in the best of cases paying too much for a service.

I agree, it is best to pays bills on time so that late fees are not charged. Sometimes we must prioritize due to lack of funds. During those times, it is best to pick the one with the lowest impact to our lives to delay payment. Sometimes you can discuss this with the company and maybe they would provide extra days to pay without a fee. You never know unless you ask. But it is best to pay on time and not be in that situation to begin with.
