That brainwash scene always cracked me up because he's shutting his eyes as hard as he can and then acts like their hands could have forced his eyes open 110%. Had to try it myself to make sure it was bullshit.

Wil Wheaton seems like a really decent guy but he'll probably never live down playing Wesley Crusher. When you're an actor, especially one as young as he was then, you read the script and say your lines. A-list stars can often get away with ad libbing, but not C-list ones.
