Mis amig@s lectores, encantada de escribirles nuevamente por acá. En esta oportunidad quiero contarles sobre un evento que realizaron el día sábado aquí en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, el cual titularon "BA celebra Venezuela" es su primera edición y me pareció hermoso poder contarles.
Debido a que la migración venezolana es bastante grande y sobretodo hay muchísimos venezolanos en este país, en casi todas sus provincias la ciudad de Buenos Aires en asociación con Asoenvear (una asociación de enfermeros venezolanos en Argentina) decidieron realizar este hermoso homenaje para celebrar con todos nosotros venezolanos, nuestra gastronomía, la música y toda la buena vibra que siempre solemos dar cuando se trata de celebrar y de cierta forma dar a conocer todo esto a nuestros queridos argentinos que muy bien nos han recibido.
My friends readers, I am delighted to write to you again here. This time I want to tell you about an event that took place on Saturday here in the city of Buenos Aires, which was called "BA celebrates Venezuela" is its first edition and I thought it was beautiful to be able to tell you about it.
Because the Venezuelan migration is quite large and above all there are many Venezuelans in this country, in almost all its provinces the city of Buenos Aires in association with Asoenvear (an association of Venezuelan nurses in Argentina) decided to make this beautiful tribute to celebrate with all of us Venezuelans, our gastronomy, music and all the good vibes that we always give when it comes to celebrate and somehow make known all this to our dear Argentines who have received us very well.
El evento fue realizado en la Avenida de Mayo la cual es muy emblemática y dónde se realizan todo tipo de eventos ya sea políticos o culturales, de hecho es donde hacen cada vez que se puede una feria cultural donde participan varios países para mostrar su gastronomía y música, para mí es una avenida para celebrar la multiculturalidad y en esta ocasión la prestaron solo para Venezuela.
The event was held on Avenida de Mayo which is very emblematic and where all kinds of events are held either political or cultural, in fact it is where they do every time they can a cultural fair where several countries participate to showcase their cuisine and music, for me it is an avenue to celebrate multiculturalism and this time they lent it only for Venezuela.
Durante el paseo por toda la avenida se podían observar estaba muy bien organizados, habían puestos de todo tipo donde se podían encontrar mucha de nuestra gastronomía típica como arepas, empanadas, tequeños, dulces típicos como tres leches, catalinas y nuestro amado quesillo que es parecido a un flan. También había puestos de información al migrante a fin de darnos a conocer un poco sobre nuestros derechos y deberes como residentes de este país.
During the walk along the avenue you could see that it was very well organized, there were stalls of all kinds where you could find a lot of our typical cuisine such as arepas, empanadas, tequeños, typical sweets such as tres leches, catalinas and our beloved quesillo which is similar to a flan. There were also information booths for migrants in order to let us know a little about our rights and duties as residents of this country.
Habían también puestos donde se mostraba el arte venezolano ya que hay mucho talento, luego de transitar por todos los puestos casi al finalizar la avenida se encontraba una tarima para amenizar el momento, en ella se presentaron varios grupos musicales, donde el género que más sonó fue gaitas zulianas, es un estilo de música que se escucha muchísimo en la provincia de Venezuela llamada Zulia, pero también se puede disfrutar en otras provincias del país, en Caracas particularmente se escucha en el mes de Diciembre.
There were also stalls where Venezuelan art was shown since there is a lot of talent, after passing through all the stalls almost at the end of the avenue there was a stage to liven up the moment, in it were presented several musical groups, where the genre that sounded the most was gaitas zulianas, is a style of music that is heard a lot in the province of Venezuela called Zulia, but can also be enjoyed in other provinces of the country, in Caracas particularly heard in the month of December.
También se presentó un grupo llamado Tambor Palenque que para mí, fue el grupo musical más original ya que su tipo de música era parecido al pop o canciones medio románticas pero con un fondo de tambores que protagonizaban cada una de las canciones, lo que si es cierto es que todos los grupos hicieron bailar y disfrutar a todos los asistentes, recordándonos a los venezolanos nuestras raíces y dando un poquito de Venezuela a los Argentinos, esto fue una caricia al alma ya que a pesar de que estamos lejos de nuestro país se puede conseguir un poquito de Venezuela en esta hermosa ciudad, realmente en ese momento no importó el frío que hacía ya que fue genial y quedamos con ganas de más.
There was also a group called Tambor Palenque that for me, was the most original musical group because their type of music was similar to pop or romantic songs but with a background of drums that starred in each of the songs, what is certain is that all groups made all attendees dance and enjoy, reminding us Venezuelans of our roots and giving a little bit of Venezuela to the Argentines, this was a caress to the soul because even though we are far away from our country you can get a little bit of Venezuela in this beautiful city, really at that moment it did not matter how cold it was because it was great and we were eager for more.
Como no todo es perfecto y color de rosa, evidentemente hay cosas que se deben mejorar para las próximas ediciones, como por ejemplo mejorar el sonido ya que si estabas cerca de la tarima se escuchaba bien los grupos musicales y a los presentadores pero si te alejabas al menos una cuadra ya se escuchaba ahogado el sonido. De igual forma debería haber un poquito más de variedad musical ya que nuestros géneros musicales son muy variados de acuerdo a la provincia donde pertenezcas.
Más allá de eso todo estuvo muy bien, la seguridad estuvo perfecta y la atención médica fenomenal ya que llegue a ver a varias personas desmayadas o mareadas y los bomberos de la ciudad hicieron un trabajo extraordinario, espero que se repita y que cada edición sea mucho mejor que la anterior. Una vez más gracias a Buenos Aires y gracias a la Argentina por el recibimiento y tratarnos con tanto cariño.
As not everything is perfect and rosy, obviously there are things that should be improved for future editions, such as improving the sound because if you were near the stage you could hear the bands and presenters well but if you moved at least one block away you could hear the sound drowned out. Likewise, there should be a little more musical variety since our musical genres are very varied according to the province where you belong.
Beyond that everything was great, the security was perfect and the medical attention was phenomenal as I got to see several people fainted or dizzy and the firefighters of the city did an extraordinary job, I hope it will be repeated and that each edition will be much better than the previous one. Once again thanks to Buenos Aires and thanks to Argentina for the welcome and for treating us with so much affection.

Me imagino que la nostalgia que sintieron todos los venezolanos allí presentes 🤧 Este tipo de eventos cada vez son más populares, pues he visto varios parecidos hasta en Japón y la estación de Venezuela siempre presente ☺️ Excelente la idea de que una estación fuera exclusivamente para dar información a los inmigrantes ✨ ¡Excelente evento!
