Si frecuentas redes sociales como YouTube o Facebook y además, haces lo que yo que voy casi inmediatamente a ver los comentarios, te darás cuenta que siempre hay comentarios con muchos likes y respuestas. Vemos casos donde comentarios superan al post original en likes, porque son aportes muy buenos y significativos.

Dejando de lado esos casos excepcionales, hoy deseo hacerte saber o recordarte, según sea e caso, que hay ventaja en hacer el primer comentario en un post.

¿Cuáles son esas ventajas?

1. Ego: si tu primer comentario es un "súper comentario", no tanto en extensión, sino en valor e ingenio, te harás "famoso". Tu centro de notificaciones se llenará por los likes y respuestas que recibirás y aparecerás entre los más relevantes. Serás importante entre un mar de comentarios, sobre todo, si es un post viral. Es decir, serás "semiviral".

2. Tráfico: al ser el primer comentario y sumado al valor que aportes, la gente podrá interesarse en ti porque le parecerás interesante. Eso se puede convertir en tráfico a tu canal de YouTube, blog, sitio web o perfil en la red social que hagas el comentario, incluso se puede extender a otras redes si tienes una buena presentación y enlaces a ellas en tu descripción.

3. Influencia: aunado al ego y el tráfico que obtengas, crece tu influencia. Si tu comentario es valioso e interesante y tu demás contenido también lo es, ganarás seguidores y la gente empezará a considerarte experto o alguien que sabe lo que hace y dice. Tu comentario en ese post lo reflejó y el contenido en tu blog, canal de video o perfil de Istagram, lo confirmó. Empieza tu influencia y efecto en esos que te descubrieron.

4. Votos (si estás en Hive). Al ser el primer comentario y ser de los mejores, puede que curadores u otros usuarios con buen poder de voto recompensen tu comentario. Obtendrás, pues, una recompensa extra por ese aporte que hagas.

La invitación que te hago en esta ocasión es a hacer comentarios orgánicos. Me refiero a aportes de valor, ya sea para complementar un post en un tono respetuoso, aunque no necesariamente condescendiente.

¿Qué quiero decir con esto último? Que seamos honestos en lo que expresemos, sino nos gusta, decirlo, si no estamos de acuerdo, expresarlo. Si por el contrario, nos fascinó la publicación, también decirlo y ser abundantes en nuestros elogios (evitando la adulación). Si hay un error, con educación, señalarlo, aunque si es muy "vergonzozo" y puedes evitar dejarlo y más bien te puedes contactar por privado con ese autor, en mi opinión, es mejor. Pero queda a tu criterio.

Y justo con la idea final del párrafo anterior, desarrollo este. Todas las anteriores percepciones y recomendaciones sobre el acto de comentar, son sugerencias meramente subjetivas. Es únicamente mi opinión, no pretendo ni hoy, ni nunca, imponer o dar a entender que si no haces lo que se plantea en este post, entonces lo haces mal, no amas a Hive o eres un pésimo creador de contenido. Comentar debe ser un hábito basado en la libertad, el sentido común y esas leyes "no escritas" de las redes sociales y del marketing de contenido. Mucho de lo que se aplica en otras redes sociales, pueden aplicarse en #Hive, pero también hay que entender que este ecosistema tiene su propia dinámica.

Leaving aside those exceptional cases, today I want to let you know or remind you, as the case may be, that there is an advantage in making the first comment on a post.

What are those advantages?

1. Ego: if your first comment is a "super comment", not so much in length, but in value and wit, you will become "famous". Your notification center will be filled by the likes and replies you will receive and you will appear among the most relevant. You will be important in a sea of comments, especially if it is a viral post. In other words, you will be "semi-viral".

2. Traffic: being the first comment and added to the value you provide, people will be interested in you because they will find you interesting. This can be converted into traffic to your YouTube channel, blog, website or profile in the social network you comment on, and can even be extended to other networks if you have a good presentation and links to them in your description.

3. Influence: together with the ego and the traffic you get, your influence grows. If your comment is valuable and interesting and your other content is too, you will gain followers and people will start to consider you an expert or someone who knows what he does and says. Your commentary on that post reflected that and the content on your blog, video channel or Instagram profile, confirmed it. Start your influence and effect on those who discovered you.

4. Votes (if you are on Hive). Being the first comment and being one of the best, curators or other users with good voting power may reward your comment. You will get, therefore, an extra reward for that contribution you make.

The invitation I extend to you on this occasion is to make organic comments. I mean contributions of value, either to complement a post in a respectful, but not necessarily condescending tone.

What do I mean by the latter? That we should be honest in what we express, if we don't like it, say so, if we don't agree, express it. If, on the contrary, we were fascinated by the publication, also say so and be abundant in our praise (avoiding flattery). If there is an error, politely point it out, although if it is very "embarrassing" and you can avoid leaving it and rather contact the author privately, in my opinion, it is better. But it is at your discretion.

And just with the final idea of the previous paragraph, I develop this one. All the above perceptions and recommendations on the act of commenting are merely subjective suggestions. It is only my opinion, I do not intend neither today, nor ever, to impose or imply that if you do not do what is raised in this post, then you do it wrong, you do not love Hive or you are a lousy content creator. Commenting should be a habit based on freedom, common sense and those "unwritten" laws of social media and content marketing. Much of what applies in other social networks, can be applied in #Hive, but you also have to understand that this ecosystem has its own dynamics.
