Today I chose to tell you about a plant that we have had in our yard for quite some time.
It is a bush bearing white flowers that fill the air with their perfume, and seem to glow in the dark, especially in the rainy season. Also striking are its very bright green leaves that can be seen throughout the year.

It had grown and reached a good height, but was attacked by an invasive vine (Phthirusa sp or "guatepajarito") that greatly weakened it and almost killed it.
Extensive pruning was done and all traces of the vine were removed, but it was very small and is now growing slowly.
