Hello everyone!

For the next 30 days, I will be covering the best takeaways from the book I'm reading with the CTP Mastermind Group.

contentinc_2021.jpg

The book is divided into 9 parts, which fits my plan in posting about each part every Tuesday and Thursday!

To know more about the book, you can click on the image above and it will redirect to its main website, or just follow me for the next few posts!

I appreciate the way the book is organized so far and the chapters begin with what it is all about on that chapter, meaning that whichever phase you are on your journey, you can follow along or simply go to the chapter you fit the most at the moment!

Part 1 is about the very beginning: what do you need to do before starting anything!

Maybe it sounds some kind of cliché or you are sick of reading/listening to this, but the fact is that about 3 in 100 people actually write down their goals (page 7 of the book)! And probably much less taking action from them!

The book is awesome enough to have some action steps, including writing down the goals! But before that, it shares some ways to help you discover your ultimate goals in life and how to tackle them.

Also in Part 1 talks about the changes that the world have through the years in the economic environment and how can it be an opportunity for entrepreneurs and businesses today!

Chapter 1 TakeAway - The Three R's - Record, Repeat, Remove

Writing goals can be simple when you have them all settle already in mind, but what about passing to the next round - the action? This simple 3-step way might be a solution.

@blainjones already went ahead and talk about them here.

Write down your goals, review them every day and declutter what is all around them that might take away your focus!

Chapter 2 TakeAway - Content Inc. Learnings from Napoleon Hill

You will notice through the book that the author got into a lot of research to make this book even awesome, you can check the list of resources at the end of each chapter.

Even though I never read the *Think and Grow Rich*, I believe he put the best lessons from it that can be still be followed today.

Desire, faith, specialized knowledge, imagination, decision and persistence are the best qualities that an entrepreneur should have!

My thoughts so far

To be honest, it's always difficult to write down my goals and focus on them when I want to do it all! But being a Jack of All Trades will always end up to be Master of None, so what I can do at least is try. That's why I posted about my long-term goals the other day!

I will do my best and follow the action steps in the book and write them down.

The model to follow inside the book seems interesting and it goes with what I believe. How the changes in technology and consumer behaviour can be taken to our advantage. It's a matter of embracing the change and adapt your mindset: with all the emerging competition you cannot think just about the product, you will need to think about the consumer first and know their needs. That is why providing valued content and communication are crucial to this day and age!

That's about it for today?

I have the complete schedule on a previous post but looking forward to do these every Tuesday and Thursday!
I'm starting to enjoy reading books but always find other things to do and not making time to stop and read, that is why these posts will help me push myself to read.
Hope you enjoy my notes :)

I love to read. I have already started two books but so I am happy to have you read the book and share it's knowledge with us. I am also a big fan of Napoleon Hill.

I'm starting to like it but never find the time to do it. I tend to go for audiobooks and do something else while listening. That also counts right? lol

Thank you so much!
I read it while I was doing a 30-day content challenge, started a new job AND moved to a new apartment! And now I find it difficult to fit time to read ahahah
So I might read it again but I think I got the few best parts of it!
Enjoy the ride :)
