Hi dear friends of Hive Open Mic in its 135th week.
It is always a pleasure to be back sharing this musical space with each of you. For this week I bring you a song by Ali Primera, Venezuelan singer-songwriter and writer known for his political activism, the song is called "El despertar la historia".
When I was reading the theme of the week "fight against oppression" came to my mind this song that I sang for the first time in the choir years ago and has a nice choral arrangement that at that time we accompanied it with a Venezuelan cuatro and tambora. On this occasion I wanted to share with you the song with a "Palo de Agua" instrument to give it a sublime tempo.

Siempre es un gusto estar nuevamente compartiendo este especio musical con cada uno de ustedes. Para esta semana les traigo un tema de Ali Primera, cantautor y escritor Venezolano conocido por su activismo político, el tema lleva por nombre "El despertar la historia".
Cuando estuve leyendo la temática de la semana "lucha contra la opresión" vino a mi mente esta canción que canté por primera vez en el coro hace años y tiene un bonito arreglo coral que en ese entonces lo acompañamos con un cuatro venezonalo y tambora. En esta ocasión quise compartir con ustedes el tema con un el instrumento "Palo de Agua" para dar un suplime tempo.

Eliii como estás? que fino volvernos a ver por aquí, te cuento que desconocía esa canción del gran Alí Primera, que bien sabemos sus temas siempre fueron enfocados al descontento social y a la realidad en general, me gustó mucho y oye tenía años sin escuchar un palo de agua, me encantó eso, te quedó genial 🌹💖!!!

Una idea muy original, acompañarte con un Palo de Lluvia! Nunca había escuchado éste tema de Alí primera, está muy linda la letra.
A mí me gustan mucho las interpretaciones así, como estilo Acapella (Aunque te acompañas con instrumentos de percusión no hay Armonía). Me sentí muy bien al escucharte, tu voz da una sensación de paz.

Es cierto, es una manera de llevar el estilo Acapella que me agrada mucho. Seguro si escuchas el tema original no la ubicas, según mi criterio es un poco pesada y este arreglo coral lo hace un poco más armónico.
