Hello skin care lovers

Today I want to share with you some tips and products that I use when taking care of my face and lips when exposed to UV rays.

Since we are little we are always warned about how harmful the sun's rays can be on our skin and the truth is that very few of us take the real interest or at least it was my case until a couple of years ago. UV rays can be really harmful and aggressive for our skin, generating in the worst situations from spots to melanoma, a type of cancer that appears on the skin.

Of course, I had not understood this and if I am honest, I only used sunscreen when I went to the beach because I felt that I was exposed to the sun and I only applied it once. And of course, I noticed that I was quite sunburned even when "according to me" I was applying enough sunscreen, I thought at that time that it was an exaggeration to follow the directions of the product, which clearly said that it should be applied every 20 minutes, because I thought it was was wasting too much sunscreen.

When I started taking care of my skin, I think that was the first thing I changed, the way I applied the sunscreen and also taking the precaution that the product was kind to the skin on my face. I think there comes a point in life, you have to unlearn to learn things we thought we knew how to do. I learned that I had to take proper care of my face and skin in general, I now use 2 sunscreens.
One that is exclusively for the face and one for the body and when I am exposed to direct sun either because I go shopping or to the market try to apply sunscreen regularly.

The one I use for the body is from the brand Bio organic SPF 50+ is water and sweat resistant. The truth is that I really like it because it doesn't leave the skin greasy and it has a coconut scent, particularly the smell of coconut always reminds me of the beach and every time I use it is a constant reminder of the sea.

And the one I use for my face is Max Block SPF 30+ and it is also water resistant, this sunscreen was recommended by my esthetician and I have been using it for quite some time, although it is a little more oily than the one I use for my body, it makes me feel good to take care of the sun's rays.

Another product that I also use to take care of my face is a lip protector with vitamin E from Valmy SPF 15+ of neutral color with tangerine scent, I usually use it over my regular lipstick or if I decide not to wear makeup I use it as a kind of gloss.

Of course it is essential as I have mentioned in other of my posts to be moisturized, this will be the complement for all our care routine against UV rays to be really effective. Because, even if you use lip balm, if you don't drink the water our body needs it can dry out and the same happens with the rest of our skin.

Finally, whenever I go out I always wear my sunglasses that serve as protection so that the sun's rays do not enter directly into my eyes and if necessary, sometimes I use a hat, cap or umbrella.

Although my routine is quite simple, it has worked quite well so far. And the truth is that every gesture I've had with my facial skin I feel that it thanks me for it. I keep learning about essential skin care so that I can prevent possible skin damage from UV rays.

Do you have any rituals to protect your skin from the sun's rays?

I read your comments.

Hello friends, I think using sunscreen is good enough, but we can not always use it because we are afraid that when we have a reaction, it is very difficult to cure.
