Mi delirio por la cima de la montaña (ESP-ENG)

Sentirnos plenos y en en paz con nosotros mismos, considero que es una actitud que debe estar constantemente siendo cultivada. Desde hace unos años me he dado a la tarea de ello, explorando una nueva faceta en mi, tomando algunos riesgos y saliendo de aventuras y descubriendo lugares. Debo admitir que atreverme hacer cosas que salgan de mi zona de confort ha sido todo un reto porque había sido más rutinaria. Les cuento, mientras estuve en la universidad estaba súper enfocada en mi meta que era obtener mi titulo universitario y creo que lo más entretenido que hice fue salir a comer algo en algún centro comercial cercano e ir al cine, aunque por su puesto disfrutaba de las salidas a la playa o al río con mi familia, pero no lo hacíamos de manera tan constante porque en la cuidad en la que vivo todos esos espacios se encuentran a muchos kilómetros de distancia.
Todo había sido de la misma manera hasta que un gran amigo, ahora mi esposo, el cual considero nació con un espíritu libre y aventurero comenzara a revolver un poco las cosas. Él ama la montaña y yo bueno, la verdad que no era muy fans de lo espacios exteriores porque soy alérgica a la picadura de los mosquitos y me agobia un poco el calor.

Feeling fulfilled and at peace with ourselves, I consider it an attitude that must be constantly being cultivated. For the past few years I have given myself the task of exploring a new facet of myself, taking some risks by going on adventures and discovering new places. I must admit that daring to do things out of my comfort zone has been a challenge because I had been more routine. I tell you, while I was in college I was super focused on my goal which was to get my college degree and I think the most entertaining thing I did was to go out to eat something in a nearby mall and go to the movies, although of course I enjoyed going to the beach or the river with my family, but we did not do it so constantly because in the city where I live all these spaces are many miles away. Everything had been the same until a great friend, now my husband, who I consider was born with a free and adventurous spirit, started to stir things up a bit. He loves the mountains and I, well, I wasn't really a fan of the outdoors because I'm allergic to mosquito bites and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the heat.

Hay una anécdota de la primera vez que fuimos a la montaña juntos, y debo decirle que que fue horrible, el tenia mucha ilusión que lo acompañara a un lugar, su lugar favorito, pero nos separaban 3 horas de caminata desde el pueblo en el que vive su familia materna hasta ese lugar soñado. Creo que me quejé todo el camino, esta muy cansada era un gran montaña que debíamos subir y en alguna parte del camino me faltó el oxigeno y descansé en repetidas ocasiones. Para no ser tan dura, no todo fue tan malo, el lugar era realmente hermoso pero definitivamente no estaba en forma porque llevaba una vida sedentaria.

Han pasado unos 8 años desde esa primera vez y por supuesto muchas aventuras hemos vivido hasta ahora. Mi amor por la naturaleza ha crecido de manera exponencial, mis padres se mudaron al campo y mis visitas a la montaña han hecho que me conecte de manera inexplicable a la madre tierra. Hace unas semanas volvimos a la montaña y sin dudas llegó a mi mente ese primer viaje que hicimos juntos, ahora no puedo ver mis días sin visitar estos lugares que me llenan el alma y me traen tanta paz, sentir la briza del aire revolviendo mi cabello y observar cada pequeño detalle de tanta inmensidad.

There is an anecdote of the first time we went to the mountain together, and I must tell you that it was horrible, he was very excited that I accompanied him to a place, his favorite place, but we were 3 hours walk from the town where his mother's family lives to that dreamed place. I think I complained all the way, I was very tired, it was a big mountain to climb and somewhere along the way I lacked oxygen and rested repeatedly. Not to be so hard, it wasn't all that bad, the place was really beautiful but I was definitely not in shape because I was leading a sedentary life.

It's been about 8 years since that first time and of course many adventures we have lived so far. My love for nature has grown exponentially, my parents moved to the countryside and my visits to the mountain have made me connect in an inexplicable way to mother earth. A few weeks ago we went back to the mountains and without a doubt that first trip we made together came to my mind, now I can't see my days without visiting these places that fill my soul and bring me so much peace, feeling the breeze in the air stirring my hair and observing every little detail of such immensity.

Algo que me encantó de este lugar fue el bosque que rodea toda la montaña, acá le llaman pinos de montaña y al fruto que cae del árbol "piñitas" y el lugar en el que se encuentra es conocido como "Bosque la Peña". Nos comentaba nuestro guía de viaje, que estábamos a uno 1400 metros sobre el nivel de mar y unos 800 metros de relieve. Algo importante para destacar es que, para llegar contratamos un carro rustico, dado que el camino es pedregoso y de tierra, Pero sin dudas, el lugar es realmente hermoso por la manera en la que el sol entra de manera sublime entre las ramas de los arboles y ese ambiente tan fresco, no es tan frío pero definitivamente jamás hace calor, para mi es el lugar ideal para relajarse y hacer una caminata y explorar todo el lugar observando toda la biodiversidad del sitio.

Something that I loved about this place was the forest that surrounds the entire mountain, here they call it mountain pines and the fruit that falls from the tree "piñitas" and the place where it is located is known as "Bosque la Peña". Our tour guide told us that we were at 1400 meters above sea level and about 800 meters above sea level. Something important to note is that, to get there we hired a rustic car, since the road is rocky and dirt, but without a doubt, the place is really beautiful by the way the sun enters in a sublime way between the branches of the trees and that cool atmosphere, it is not so cold but definitely never hot, for me it is the ideal place to relax and take a walk and explore the whole place observing all the biodiversity of the site.

Siempre he pensando, que mientras mejor me la estoy pasando el tiempo pasa muy rápido, porque en retrospectiva estábamos en la mañana tomando una merienda y ya luego era hora del almuerzo en el que decidimos hacer una comida ligera con un sándwich con pollo en un tipo pícnic.

Nos lanzamos un larga caminata escondidos entre el bosque, unas veces conversando y otras solo apreciando el lugar en el que nos encontábamos. Fue un momento para desconectarnos aunque tomé algunas foticos de este día para mostrarles todo lo hermoso de este sitio al que espero en alguna oportunidad de volver.

I have always thought that while I am having a good time the time goes by very fast, because in retrospect we were in the morning having a snack and then it was time for lunch in which we decided to have a light meal with a chicken sandwich in a kind of picnic.

We went for a long walk hidden in the forest, sometimes chatting and sometimes just appreciating the place we were in. It was a moment to disconnect but I took some pictures of this day to show you all the beauty of this place that I hope to return to sometime.

Esta no fue mi primera vez en la montaña, pero si, mi primera vez en este bosque de pinos y al menos en estos primeros meses del 2022 ha sido de las cosas más geniales, me tomé algunas otras fotografías con un par de "piñitas" que caen del pino quedándome con una de ellas de recuerdo de este maravilloso viaje.

En un momento de la vida te das cuenta cuanto vale vivir disfrutando de cada detalle y definitivamente no me refiero a un valor monetario sino a sentir y disfrutar cada instante, cada lugar, apreciando cada pequeño detalle. Me quedé amando el lugar y amando cada día a mi compañero de aventuras.

Regresar a la montaña es tan placentero y recordar todo ese sentimiento negativo que alguna oportunidad sentí está alejado de este sentimiento de plenitud que me hace sentir ahora.

This was not my first time in the mountain, but yes, my first time in this pine forest and at least in these first months of 2022 it has been one of the coolest things, I took some other pictures with a couple of "piñitas" that fall from the pine tree keeping one of them as a souvenir of this wonderful trip.

At some point in life you realize how much it is worth to live enjoying every detail and I definitely do not mean a monetary value but to feel and enjoy every moment, every place, appreciating every little detail. I stayed loving the place and loving every day my adventure partner. Coming back to the mountain is so pleasurable and remembering all that negative feeling I once felt is far from this feeling of fulfillment I feel now.

Nunca pensé que diría esto pero mi lugar favorito al igual para él, es la montaña es un sitio en el que todos mis sentidos pueden sentirse plenos y mi alma lo disfruta aún más.

I never thought I would say this but my favorite place for him is the mountain, it is a place where all my senses can feel fulfilled and my soul enjoys it even more.
