MyY MARKET FRIDAY :SHOPPING FOR MY FRUITS

Good day everyone, hope you are doing great? This is my entry for this week #marketfriday.

Fruits are very essential in our daily life, am so used to eating fruits, now that am aware of it's usefulness and health benefits in the body.

I bought my fruits in the market not far from home. The Hausas are so good at this and they are always happy when you try to interact with them and buy fruits

They have different varieties, apple, watermelon, pineapple, oranges and carrots and the way they always arrange is so orderly and fascinating.

The watermelon has been divided and tied with a nylon. I prefer this because it's hard to know the ripe ones, I like when it's already cut and much more cheaper, buying the whole sometimes gets spoilt when every member of the family is not interested in eating,my sister now doesn't like watermelon so it will waste

Pineapple
The pineapple is cut into slices and sold at the rate of #100, then put in a plastic bucket that has cover to prevent flies. This is much faster for them as customers don't really buy the whole always, everyone trying to work with affordable prices and they kept some which hasn't been cut also

What a wonderful market and not far from your home! That is pretty awesome! All of the fruit looks ripe and ready, How nice that it is cut up into easy-to-eat pieces and making less waste!

How lucky for you, especially with the watermelon. I think that is a worldwide event, wasting watermelon. If it is not ripe, it doesn't get eaten very fast either! So cutting it makes it easy to see! This was awesome and the pictures too. Thanks for taking us along with you!

#MarketFriday loves you!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

That's so true, the unripe watermelon ends up thrown away on the streets and starts bringing bad smell, so to prevent waste they just cut it out into affordable price.
Thanks for the beautiful comment
