Weekend engagement week 154: What I want to be remembered for

Hello hivers

"Sometimes you couldn’t face the sadness of being forgotten until you felt the comfort of being remembered again".
Ann Brashares.

To be honest picking a topic for this week in the #weekend-engagement is a lot more difficult than I thought, the question has made me to ponder and think so much about what I would be remembered for, it can be good, it can be bad, it can be a mixture of good and bad, everyone with their own perspective of how they view me and each individual I have encountered will definitely have something to say about me

A lot of things came to my mind but I will write on these two

  1. I want to be remembered for being myself
  2. I want to be remembered for loving my peace and trying to create peace.

No doubt we love ourself, self love is really important. I don't compare myself to any body and I always follow my mind. A lot of people say am stubborn, why? because it's very hard to change my mind when I am serious with doing something, this I call determination 😁, but I guess I am misjudged sometimes and in the end when they see the outcome is positive, they tend to leave me to do as I wish and just respect my decisions.

I always like to be at peace with myself and with people. Life is short and shouldn't be lived in toxicity. The people I relate with, my environment, for my health, mentally, physically and emotionally I love to maintain peace, although some see it as a way of detaching and secluding myself when people or something disturbs my peace. I have few friends but I make sure I keep them dear to my heart and I don't forget them easily.

This is my entry for this week

Thanks to @galenkp for the topic

Comparisons are harmful, whoever they come from. I like the way you think, I'm sure you will be remembered as you wish to be.

Comparison is truly harmful and a thief of joy. Thanks for the nice comments
