Beautiful Sunday + Sublime Sunday

Sunday... Another stay at home Sunday... Weather forecast says that there will be rain... So staying at home is a better option. And making crafts is one of a good pass time activity.

I have always wanted to weave but never really put effort to weave properly. Since today I have nothing much to do, I thought maybe today is a good day to weave. I took out some old magazine. Cut the papers into stripes and start weaving. End product is a pen holder.

One page of the magazine can be divided into 6 stripes.

So to make one pen holder, I use two pages of the magazine.

I used 5x5 stripes as the base.

Weaving is not as hard as I thought. Just need to pay extra attention when weaving the corners. I have planned to weave bigger basket in the near future.
