Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge - Silent Sha-Vi
Hey folks š Graham here.
Welcome to another Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge. Here is the original post if you want to enter a battle yourselves.
This week we are featuring a common Death Splinter monster called Silent Sha-Vi from Chaos Legion.
I like this card as it has Sneak at level 1 which is always a great ability to have in any battle line up. This monster also has some geat stats for a common card.
Splinterlore
Silent Sha-vi are entities from the shadow realm that take the form of giant snakes. They travel in darkness and shadow as if each dark corner is a gateway that leads elsewhere. They have an appetite for slow and creeping deaths, feeding off the escalating fear of the victim. If you think there might be a monster under your bed, it's probably a Silent Sha-vi.
Edition: Chaos Legion
Rarity: Common
Element: Death
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Sneak at level 1, Cripple at level 6 and Piercing at level 10
CRIPPLE - Each time an enemy is hit by a Monster with Cripple it loses one max health
PIERCING - If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health
Let's take a closer look at the stats.
This is a 46 mana level battle with all Splinters allowed except Earth, Dragon + Fire.
I have 6 cards in this battle against 6!
Death vs Life
Ruleset = Earthquake
Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
This is a great Death Splinter Summoner as he grants all friendly monsters with the Poison ability which means they have a 50% chance of afflicting Poison on the enemy with every turn.
First Place: Goblin Mech
This is a great tank and as he is in the Neutral Splinter he can played in almost any battle. I have mine at level 5 to benefit from the massive 54 hit points!
Second Place: Prismatic Energy
This monster is in second place to provide magic attack support to the tank. With its massive 10 health it should stay alive long enough to do some decent damage.
The featured monster is in third place so he is protected on both sides. He will hide here and use his Sneak ability to take out the enemy from the rear.
Fourth Place: Life Sapper
This monster us here to provide more magic attack and also to use the Life leech ability.
Fifth Place: Lira The Dark
Lira is here to utilise her Snare ability since this an Earthquake ruleset. This should remove the Flying ability from any monsters she attacks.
Sixth Place: Cornealus
The big eyeball is at the rear to provide ranged attack support and with the healing ability he should be able to stay alive long enough to make a difference.
Round one kicks off with Lira The Dark attacking the Gargoya Devil and afflicting him with the Snare ability thus removing the Flying ability.
Cornealus also attacks the Sea Monster and Poisons him.
Sadly the round ends with the first fatality on my side when the Sea Genie takes out my tank Goblin Mech!
Round 2 begins well with Lira The Dark killing the enemies tank the Sea Monster but due to the Return Fire ability she is killed in the process!
Sadly Prismatic Energy has now been killed by Venari Wavesmith and Silent Sha-Vi is then destroyed by the Sea Genie.!!
Round 3 begins and i only have 2 cards left against 4, its not looking good!
The Earthquake kicks in at the start and destroys my Life Sapper. I only have Cornealus left but he has got the Healing ability so i am still in with a chance of winning.
Watch as i achieve victory.
This was an amazing battle and i really thought i was losing it at the end but Cornealus saved the day. I would easily use the same line up again.
Check out the Great Battle to see him in action!
If you sign up with my Referral Link and purchase the Summoner's Spellbook i will delegate you 5 cards to help you get started. At least one of these will be rare or higher.
