A New Week, A New Power Up Ahead!

Hello dearest Hivers from the world! Today's the long awaited 15th, and what does that means? That today is Leo Power Up Day.

Personally, I've never participated before in the Power Up activities, but this August is different, and I really hope for it to be the beginning of an active participation, both for #HPUD and #LPUD.

So for today, I'll go a bit above the minimum amount to participate this first time, I'll be Powering Up 160 LEO, right now!

*LFG!!!*

...and it's done!

*Mission Accomplished a minute ago!*

Now let's go with the economic events for this week that will tremble the walls, and will shake the ground of the economic system in which we (yet) stand up.

Some Featured News:

Justin Sun's Assets Blocked by Aave

Two days ago the controversial self-claimed "His Exellency" Tron founder Justin Sun tweeted that his Aave account was blocked, after he received a random 0.1 ETH from Tornado Cash.

I’m officially blocked by @AaveAave since someone sent 0.1 eth randomly from @TornadoCash to me. @StaniKulechov pic.twitter.com/tNXNLNYZha

Despite the situation, he took the time to joke about it, saying:

Sending @TornadoCash eth to @jimmyfallon @brian_armstrong @RealPAULLOGAN @SHAQ is fine since none of them is using defi application. But don't send it to me 🤣 https://t.co/1TDW7VQ5ZF

Not really a news, but anyway funny. To the important things!

Every time I think that some guy in TV stands up and affect (for better or for worse... but much often for worse) the lives of literally billions of people, I get more convinced of the need of a new monetary paradigm.

As traders, we can both speculate on the rises, and falls of markets. Awesome. So I can benefit from those people doing it right or poorly, but that's not the case for the average people, the average family. They suffer their nefarious decisions. From my perspective, this is very unfair, that our lives are in hands of these people.

This week I've seen a lot of content stating that Bitcoin and cryptos are just another bubble, that it will inevitably go to 0, that such a systematic change is not possible. Personally, I don't want to believe that.

Instead, I chose to believe that despite this world seeming immutable with its flaws and social injustice, we are now transitioning from a centralized world of huge institutions and their systematic corruption, to a world we BUIDL, in which there's no space for greed, a world for the benefit of the humans yet to come.

I chose to believe, the upcoming pages are yet to be written.

Will this transition be possible without war? Subject for another post.

Just a thought, though.
