Premier league action set to take place tonight as wolves host Everton

It will be a hard fought battle as Wolverhampton wanderers is set to host Everton in the English premier league later tonight.

However, the match is said to take place with the host having an indifferent record in the Premier League at the moment this season (W4, D1, L4), with the record so far, there's been a turnaround which is a noticeable upturn in their form in recent weeks for Wolverhampton.

In fact, with the recent form for the host, since the start of September, only Chelsea and Arsenal have picked up more premier league wins than Bruno Lage’s men securing (four). Having such record at the moment should give the host a timely confidence boost ahead of playing against Everton later tonight in the Molineux stadium.

However, their visitors Everton is a side who have coped competently in the majority of their recent trips to Molineux Stadium against wolves. The fixture between these two sides have seen the hosts win just one of their last six home premier league head-to-head against Everton with three draws and two lost (D3, L2).

The last meetings between these two sides, within that run have saw both teams scoring before half time, though the two first half goals Wolverhampton wanderers have scored this season is a joint league low where their visitors should be alarmed by Wolverhampton side as they look more dangerous in scoring.

Rafa Benitez side conceded four goals in the final 15 minutes of their remarkable 5-2 defeat to Watford last week at home, after experiencing such defeat it means that only Norwich City have now conceded more strikes after the 60th minute than Everton (nine) this season's campaign.

The away side now look to take caution as the probability of witnessing a third straight premier league loss is high and for the first time in nearly 12 months, and with just one win from five this season (D2, L2), the pressure is on manager Rafael Benítez to work on their poor performance to prevent unwanted growing trend for the team.

Everton are looking forward to secure three consecutive league victories against Wolverhampton wanderers for the first time since 1970 and if they failed to do so and lose it will be a three straight lost for the visitors.

Players to watch

Hwang Hee-Chan

The new Wolverhampton signing has four goals in name in his last six premier league matches and is yet to be on the losing side in any premier league goalscoring appearance with the record (W2, D1) and would really be a tough task for Everton.

Andros Townsend

Andros Townsend would be a treat for the host as he always look dangerous to score with his quality style of play and strikes he due perform on the pitch.

Richarlison

After been away for a long time due to injury the Brazilian is back to help is side regain points again and would not be a easy task for wolves to handle, despite losing 5-2 in their last match the player scored in his return from injury.
