Spartak Moscow 3 Patson Daka 4 as Leicester came from two goals down to secure victory in a seven goals thriller

It was quite an interesting and entertaining game as the foxes claim victory in Russia in a seven goals thriller where Zambia international scored all four goals for Leicester to secure victory, claiming all three points away from home.

The Russian team Spartak Moscow however, suffered their fourth consecutive home defeat in Europe, the worst form or record in their history, as they were defeated once again in a 4-3 lost to Leicester City in the first ever competitive meeting between the two clubs.

Despite a boisterous home crowd for the Russian side, Spartak Moscow were the better team in the early stage of the game as Leicester’s early pressure and slowly gained momentum. The home side started well in the game in just over 10 minutes played, the Russian side took the lead, although their visitors defenders appeared to be weak to have any outlets blocked off, a well curling shot from Spartak's Aleksandr Sobolev took a heavy deflection to wrong foot Kasper Schmeichel and give the home side an early 1-0 lead in the game.

The home side continued with their remarkable effort five minutes before the break as the game descended into chaos when the Nigerian Victor Moses caught the visitors in possession will his fine display before playing a square ball to Jordan Larsson, who did no mistake to stabbed home to double the lead for Russian side.

Despite being two goals up the away side were not relentless as Brendan Rodgers’ men reacted in superb fashion to bounce back in the game by pulling one goal back. With the English side fine effort from Kelechi Iheanacho who gave a perfect pass to Patson Daka, who fired the ball in the back of the net moments before the half time.

After the break, Leicester city continue with their quality play to bounce back in the game as both Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka both picked up right where they left off, with a fantastic ball from Luke Thomas, slid across to Patson Daka once more for the Zambian player to tap home to equalize for the visitors.

Despite getting their heads upright by bouncing back to the game, Leicester city were relentless as they continue to push for more goals and eventually the turnaround was complete when Patson Daka finally got his hatrick after slottering through the legs of Spartak goalkeeper Aleksandr Maksimenko to grab his third goal in style, making it just three goals in only eight minutes from the player.

Having that being achieved the Zambian Incredibly scored his fourth with just over ten minutes remaining in the match, after firing a fine curling ball beyond Maksimenko after receiving a fine ball from James Maddison’s through ball to cap off Leicester’s revival and dramatic comeback.

With the pressure mounted on the home side they some how find their way back in the game by pulling one back, when Sobolev struck home for his second goal of the game soon after. The Russian team also made several attempts to find an equaliser to secure a point but their efforts was stopped by the away side as they maintain their win to secure victory.
