En todo pueblo se maneja una historia y la misma se va exparciendo de acuerdo a ciertos acontecimientos místicos/cristianos y culturales. Trujillo/ Venezuela se fundo en 1899, su fortaleza era la agricultura y la fabricación de cemento en su momento. Desde su concepción fue un estado pobre, de aquí han salido grandes personajes que han marcado nuestro entorno y se han hecho sentir a nivel Mundial por sus grandes dones.
Estado religioso, que en medio de su olvido, apareció en una montaña conocida como Peña la VIRGEN DE LA PAZ, PATRONA DEL ESTADO, en los años 1500 aproximadamente, según los mitos fue el rayito de luz que les apareció a unos vecinos del sector Carmona,su representación y que dejó marca en una cueva misteriosa, que actualmente los peregrinos llevan velas/flores, se le reza y se les hace promesas.

Como todo venezolano orgulloso de sus raíces, en esta oportunidad, quiero compartir sobre el Monumento más alto de América Latina, en honor a su representación en la Tierra, aunque competimos con la Estatua de la Libertad en el Puerto de Nueva York, pero es de admirar el talento venezolano.
El Monumento conocido como la Virgen de la Paz, a unos 7.5 km en carro desde el sector Carmona, especial para practicar el deporte ya sea en bicicleta y a pie para disfrute del paisaje, en su recorrido encontramos restaurantes, posadas y diversas urbanizaciones de estilo colonial.

Una vez que llegas al monumento, puedes disfrutar de sus alrededores cálidos rodeado de pinos, y flores como las hortensias/rosas en todas las tonalidades; te encuentras con diversas artesanías típicas, tallas y pinturas de arte único, de alto valor artístico y sabrosas comidas /bebidas/postres de la región.

Al llegar al recinto, te encuentras con personas carismáticas, que te atienden con mucho amor, la entrada sale 1$ lo equivalente en Venezuela 5 bs; allí te enriquecieses de su historia, ya que dejaron fotos retratadas de su previa elaboración.

Monumento inaugurado el 21 de diciembre de 1983, cuya obra duró 18 meses, sin descanso.
Sus escultores fueron Manuel de la Fuente y Rosendo Camargo junto con la colaboración de Presbítero Juan Francisco Hernández. En ese tiempo el Presidente que dio el aporte para su creación fue el Dr. Luis Herrera Campins e inauguración, dicha obra esta levantada sobre una estructura de acero que compone el esqueleto de la escultura vacía en concreto, con un peso de 1.200 toneladas repartidas en 46 metros de altura, la cabeza pesa 8 toneladas, Situada a 1700 metros sobre el nivel del mar, cuenta con un ascensor, aparato innovador en su momento.

La estatua posee 5 miradores:, en cada uno los promotores de turismo dejaron una breve reseña.

• El mirador uno, se encuentra en la rodilla a una altura de 18 metros, visualizamos el Seminario y gran parte de la Ciudad Capital.
  
• El segundo mirador ubicado en la mano izquierda a una altura de 22 metros.
• El mirador 3, ubicado en la mano derecha a unos 26 metros, permitiendo contemplar el paisaje natural del pueblo trujillano y la Teta de Niquitao.

• El mirador 4, esta ubicado en la cintura, en mi criterio es el más espectacular ya que visualizamos la zona Sur del Lago de Maracaibo, la Cresta de la Sierra Nevada de Mérida y gran parte de la geografía del estado, podemos disfrutar de su aire puro.
• Y para los que les gusta las alturas al máximo el mirador 5, esta ubicado en los ojos, para llegar ahí debes subir escaleras y no sufrir de vértigo, allí se visualiza el estado en su plenitud, como si fuera un hermoso pesebre en toda su extensión.
  
  Sin dejar de lado la capilla, de forma de copula de vidrios arcaicos contemporáneos, donde esta el Santo Niño de Atoche, San Isidro Labrador y la Virgen de la Paz, se hacen misas y se dejan promesas, también cuenta con un mini parque para los reyes de la casa.
  La obra más prometedora de la historia, con grandes ingenieros a cargo para venerar a Nuestra Patrona. Los días 24 al 30 del mes de Enero son sagrados, la Patrona se habita en la Catedral Capital, se le hacen procesiones por todas las iglesias del estado para su festividad y el día no laborable es el día 24 de dicho mes.
  Trujillo, posee paisajes andinos donde se rodea de pueblos acogedores y de frescos climas, con arquitecturas coloniales en diversos municipios como Boconó, Betijoque,Escuque, La Puerta, entre otros.
  Visitar este monumento es un disfrute con la naturaleza y en familia es espectacular, ya que sales de la rutina diaria, me agrada compartir mi paseo con mis seres queridos, soy devota a la Virgen Patrona es por ello mi post, las fotos son de mi propiedad y el uso del traductor DeepL, ya que mi idioma es el español.
