STABILITY. A FINANCIAL SAMPLE. WE 107.gif

Good afternoon, dear Hive family, it is a pleasure to participate again in your weekend dynamics and I wish you all a very prosperous weekend. This time I chose option number 1.

Would you rather work in a job that you absolutely hate but pays well or work in a job that you love and find inspiring but the pay is low and you have to strictly budget your financial affairs? Explain your answers.

I identify with this option because I work in an area that is not mine, due to the salary factor, in Venezuela your academic efforts are not valued and according to the company where you undertake and the position where you are located will be your remuneration.

In my case I work in a bakery, in charge of the wholesale part, the one that dispatches and receives the merchandise of the company. It is a very different role from being a civil engineer, a 180-degree turn, but the economic situation merits it. As time goes by, you acquire another experience in another plane and you love what you do because of the environment where you interact, since for the time you work with them, they become part of your family.

Currently the salary of an engineer is very precarious, it is inexplicable how your training is not valued with so many sacrifices and not only that, there is no inspiration to continue training. It is there where the love for the profession must exist to continue training for the welfare of the future, since every day innovative things come out.

Is it sad not to work in the field of study?

Yes it is, but there are times when in order to have a better quality of life, you must sacrifice many things for your own and your family's well being.

What good is it if you walk down the street and they call you an engineer, if it is not enough to cover your needs, of course no salary in Venezuela covers the food basket due to the hyperinflation we have, the only country where the dollar is worthless, something unusual.

Of course, being called an engineer sounds very gratifying, because it is the epithet of your personal achievement.

With a positive mind that at some point my training will pay off and I will practice, it is possible to do minimal work on my own, such as remodeling, keeping in mind that there are three very relevant factors that we combat here:

  1. In the 2021st century Venezuela does not have the raw material for innovations.
  2. There are few private companies that invest, therefore there is no source of work.
  3. And finally, there are scarce economic resources for families to build their homes or make any improvements, since the costs are very high. And we are in an economic situation, where you have two crucial options:
  • If you eat you don't treat yourself (you don't dress up, you don't go for a walk).
  • If you treat yourself, you don't improve your house and vice versa.

It is very sad the situations I describe, but it is the reality of VENEZUELA.

To obtain things requires sacrifice, effort, tears, in the 2021 century all members of the household must work to unite and achieve goals, for the benefits of all, since a single swallow will not make miracles. Of course, in some countries it is more profitable the salary to acquire goods and tastes, but they still require effort.

Hopefully at some point in our history, our academic level will be appreciated and valued, for a better quality of all citizens.

All work is worthy regardless of the area, but we must always look for the best expectations as it will depend on our daily welfare.

Live your life to the fullest regardless of the circumstances, everything happens for something and that the profession does not enlarge us, sometimes it is worth more to say your simple name than the qualification by profession, since one is worth for what you know and do but not for a role, the role gives us better job expectations, but does not define your future, do what you love and enjoy the changes that God gives you.

I use Canva for the elaboration of the presentations and the deepl translator since my language is Spanish.

It's difficult to work around need. I mean, we all need a means to sustain yourselves and provide food shelter and warmth, essentially. So, we often find ourselves in jobs that don't inspire us, but pay the bills. I know this must be more difficult in places like Venezuela where the economy situation is dire.

Thanks for sharing.

Good evening, greetings
I understand what you mean, not to inspire but to cover, but already with the economic situation we try to solve and take things calmly and with positivism, in the environment that is not comfortable as it should be, just to cover the needs, and therefore any job opportunity is taken. Thank you very much for reading my publication, blessings.
