My Experience with chatting on social media

Before social the introduction of social media platforms, inter global communication was burdensome after which the introduction of mail came into play and we also have social media which allows user to communicate and interact like on a real life call and chat freely.

There are different social media platforms but I will like to talk about my favorite platform which is whatsapp.

Benefits of chatting

Onlike network providers who charge you at high rate for calls. I prefer to even subscribe my network for data which I will use to make calls on whatsap charged at affordable and cheaper rate.

Easy form of communication

Through the use of social media there is an easy form of communication by sending text messages. I can reach out to someone on Facebook who is within my vicinity which I have an engagement with.
Just only putting on my data even if I haven’t subscribe it, face book provides such opportunity to share text message.

Advantage of social media

Chatting helped me while I was travelling, actually I did an inter state travel and I did not recharge my sim card but I had data subscription in it.

During the process of travelling on the way, I discovered I needed to purchase recharge but I couldn’t tell the driver to stop for me to purchase due to the long distant journey and I my phone number wasn’t registered for USSD banking.

The only way I was able to get to the person was through chatting informing him I don’t have recharge card and means of purchasing it, he should be online when I arrive he comes to pick me up.

One negative influence of social media

If you don’t have anything doing on social media like a service or job, you won’t really enjoy the benefit of it. If you are not working, there might be chances of creating negative influence such as fraudulent texts and online dating scam which leads to kidnapping.

I’ve read of a lady who was addicted to social media posting beautiful images of herself. not until one day a man got interested in her and chatted to meet her up. But luckily for her she rejected the offer.
When she later got to enquire about the man, he was a kidnapper and a thief claiming to be a banker.
