So, when @double-eagle (TAH Records) said he wanted to send me his newest compilation album, I was thinking, ya cool. Can plug the MP3 into the truck or whatever. I was so wrong. And the little girls asked - what's that? It's a record. What's a record? 😱🤣
Now I know you recognize some of those names on there! @double-eagle and @trentonlundy1 are both coming to perform in Nashville at The Block Party II this fall! I think I follow almost all of the rest on either Hive or Audius or Soundcloud. @juxtamusic, @psionic-tremors and @winkandwoo! Got spoiled with this vinyl man. Check it.
Treasure to be sure. Thank you my dude, really. This is crazy cool. I remember watching them spin as a kid on my pops' LP player. I even had one of my own, a little one that played 45s and 33s. I ended up ruining all the ones I had as hip hop was emerging and I thought I was some kind of scratch master at 9 or 10. But, you weren't supposed to actually scratch the records. HA! REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even while memories bubble up to smile from my childhood.
Ha ha, I could just see you as a young scratch master! If only we had the sense to take care of our old 45s back in the day, I bet they would be valuable now!

How cool! I have been all sorts of getting back into vinyl (and shellac) of late. Makes me sad that I lost all my vinyl from yesteryear.
I have a small stack, maybe about 30 or so of mostly 33s. Got a few 45s and a even a couple of your fav 78s out in the garage. I don't take good care of them, should bring them in.

I did same thing as a kid, and I had one of those myself for long until it broke. I have a jukebox tho so some of my smaller ones fits well in it and I can still use it.

I still have a lot of vinyl somewhere in the basement, even got a LP player but it's from my time back in Germany so it would need a converter to run at the right speed here in the US. One day...

My dad has a couple different LP players. One is an old Victrola all huge like a bookshelf😁
My house was built in 1953 and my son insists that I need to have a sound system from that era.
I have looked into some, and it does make me want it.
Except taht my house was built in 1953 and back then houses were small...
