Raindrop Hunting

About a week ago, when last was raining, I thought I'd go raindrop hunting for a photo shoot. This is a very brave plan, as taking good raindrop photos with my cell is almost impossible, but worth a try. Plus it makes it more interesting, more challenging.

Looking at this leaf on my laptop, it's amazing how nature can create these beauties. Leaves are always interesting, if you are interested in the details.

This is the Japanese quince, that has some nice leaves. Some of them are brownish, while the rest is green. The texture of the leaves is also interesting and on this photo the raindrops are looking pretty nice.

A falling raindrops on grapes would be perfect, but I guess I'll have to wait for that when I'm going to have more professional gear. I took a few photos but this is the only one I'm willing to post even though it's no even close to what I would like as far as quality is concerned.

This was a big, half dry vine leaf, which made it even more interesting as the dark brown gives some color to the photo.

Next was the German iris. This wonderful flower has some nice, long leaves, that are perfect for raindrop to settle and to run down, when the eater is too much.

This is it for today. Next I'm looking for colorful leaves as this is the season for that type of photography, so most likely tomorrow I'm going to make a tour in the park to see if there's time.
