lower Črnuče loop

avatar

A Monday afternoon in Črnuče, perfect time for a run on a warm sunny day. This was actually my second run of the day. I did a 2-mile lap in the morning while still in Slovenska Bistrica and I felt it wasn't enough. So I went out again.

There is a bush and forest area in lower Črnuče between the commercial zone and river Sava. An ideal recreational area. Several paths crisscross the forest. There are two fitness areas too and the table in the photo shows where everything is. It took the right path.

These apartments in the distance mark the end of the forest path and return to civilization. Shall we go for another lap?

I didn0t go around again. Instead, I explored the Ludus center facilities. This looks like a cross between tennis with softball and squash.

Is anybody familiar with this racket sport?

The map.

I don't know what sport they play on those courts. Did you see anyone playing? Two runs in a day is good going. I only tend to do that if a friend wants to do an evening run after I did a morning one.

Enjoy the good weather whilst it lasts.

Yes, there were two players and I think they had a sofer ball. Since the walls are made of plexiglass they were used as in squash. The ball can bounce off them... Let me ask uncle G ...

Padel tennis :)
