autumn trails

Autumn is beautiful. Even in the morning fog as long as you are able to move in nature.

A not so early morning run in the forest along the right ridge above the Magpie's Valley.

Several times I took side turns and went off the main trail to explore lesser trotted paths. These were blocked by fallen trees on many occasions.

Ten kilometers in fog were still a joy to and celebration of life.

There was sun above the fog yet I didn't climb high enough to really see it.

Saying hello to our hero Cene Štupar.

I took the Leki poles for a run along with the other two latest additions to my running gear, Salming Elements 3 shoes and Outdoor Research gloves. Good gear!

I stopped several times to take photos and play with the app I installed yesternight. I'll tell you more about it soon.

The last full kilometer was the fastest at the e4:42 pace, running flat on tarmac and asphalt.

The map.

Now, I am waiting for the fog to disperse. We are off to have a fabulous family weekend.

Have a great weekend too.
