Don’t Try to Sound Bigger Than You Are!

We live out life in such a way that we always try to impress other people. And we try to make others look at us with some respect. If not respect atleast we want to hold their attention. And that means we often say things which make us sound bigger than we are. And that is one of the big mistakes we do in our life.

You Will Attract Leeches

Like when you are rich and resourceful. You are going to attract people who want to depend on you and the resources that bring you on the table. Be it a man or woman, both of them see this sort of the problem. Such people tend to attract the leech in their lives. So your resources are like magnet to needy people.

You Will Attract Sharks

Sharks are one who dwells both on top to bottom. And they are predatory. They tend to look at the rich or the resourceful and try to attack them. So if you sound bigger than you are then they would sense it and easily get rid of you or your claims. And if you are really what you say, they would be coming to take advantages of you as it is.

You Will Attract Whales

Now whales are not necessarily evil or angel. They are in their own tune of survival. And if you are not among them you either get buried under their weight intentionally or unintentionally. And the fish below them are usually predators who may attack you too. So trying to sound bigger than you are is going to backfire on you.

When you try to show off and try to show things you are good at. You will go through social validation filter. You may find that it is always a good idea to keep some distance and control the way you do with your finances and the show of your resources that you can do.

Conclusion

Sometimes controlling your show or persona and limiting it to only the people you want to deal with is a good practice. And trying to show yourself bigger can cause more or less problems in your everyday life and it may not go well for you. So you have to handle it better and not to let it go overboard.
