WAYS OF PREVENTING DOSMETIC ACCIDENTS

When you are talking about domestic accidents, this normally occurs at homes and around us also in our environments as well.

It is estimated that 11,000 people die each year due to preventable domestic accidents such as fire, drowning, falls etc. domestic accidents may also include drug misuse and electric shock.

All these domestic accidents can be avoided if preventive measures are taken to avoid these accidents in our homes and environments.

In preventing electrical accidents; you must avoid overloading electrical appliances and make sure bigger appliances are plugged in another outlet directly.

If you have won out appliances or cables make sure that you do not use them, and get them replaced by a professional.

In the case of fire outbreaks; first make sure that you carefully install fire alarms and fire extinguishers in your house. And also make provision for escape routes in your house plans and make sure your family members are aware of it.

In your kitchen take precautions like keep heavy and sharp objects near the ground level, and sharp objects like machete should be kept out of reach of children.

Apart from the measures mentioned above, try your best to keep walk ways and sidewalks clean at all times.

All give your family orientation on safety rules and regulations. And also practice all thse safety measures at all times.
