Initiative. Human Culture. Week 15 : "The meaning of life".

Greetings friends of the community, it is a pleasure to announce a new week of initiative here in the community. We begin our 15th week and for this opportunity we want to propose a rather peculiar reflection, but before explaining what this initiative is about, we thank all those who have participated in the 14th week of the initiative:

As the title of this announcement makes clear, this initiative week we invite you to discuss the meaning of life. We believe that thinking about the meaning of our lives is something that has required us all to spend long periods of reflection and introspection. No doubt at some point in our lives we have asked ourselves why we have come into the world, or what is the meaning of being alive.

The truth is that we can give ourselves countless answers throughout our lives, and indeed, as a society we have responded in hundreds of different ways to the question of meaning throughout human history. I believe that our freedom has given us the possibility of constructing and building new horizons of meaning. We can think that we come with an innately given meaning, or perhaps we can think that we give ourselves meaning individually or perhaps collectively. We can think that we can construct it.

Regardless of how you may think or understand the issue of meaning, we want to invite you to tell us what you think about when you think about the meaning of life, we express how you conceive the meaning of life, is it something individual or perhaps something collective. On this occasion we avoid proposing a question or an idea that triggers a reflection because we want to propose a reflection with a broad reflective openness. It is not a question of defining what the meaning of life is, but how the meaning of life is conceived for you, how it moves you, is it something important or perhaps not so important. In short, express freely what the meaning of life means to you.

Rules

  • Post with no less than 500 words per language.

  • If you do it in video format with a minimum length of 3 minutes, use 3 Speak.

  • Make sure you use good spelling.

  • Use the hashtags #humanitas and #humanculture.

  • Comment on other entries.

  • Invite at least one other person on the platform to participate in the initiative.

Remember

We are looking for originality and creativity, therefore, under no circumstances will we admit plagiarism, we want to promote critical thinking and healthy debate, during the last few weeks we have managed to demonstrate that as a community we can address issues that may be controversial in principle, or tend towards the controversial can be addressed with criteria and harmony, with discursive responsibility and above all empathy and respect, there is no need to polemicize the points of view, always with criteria and willingness to mood we can create deep and thoughtful dialogues collaborating in the construction of humanistic knowledge in this web 3.

Thank you for your time.
