A Well Celebrated New Year

I remember telling us how I spent my Christmas day staying indoors all through, it wasn't a new thing so I was used to always being indoors during such days and events but yesterday being the first day of the year 2022, was indeed a different day because I think I broke the code of always staying indoors during these two days.

I had so much fun that I never thought I would and took as many pictures because I was with a friend who was a picture freak.

After the new year service in the church, I went back home feeling tired and sleepy because I did not get enough sleep after the crossover night.

I went through my phone, sent messages, and called the few people I needed to reach out to. I felt sleepy and decided to sleep but that was after my friend called to tell me she was coming to the house.

I slept all through until when I heard my phone ring telling me she was on her way to my house. I got up, swept the floor, and did little chores before going into the bathroom to take my bath.

By the time I was done, she was already in the house and she told me she wanted to take me out. So I got dressed but before going out with her, I had to visit a friend who invited me to her house and surprisingly, it has become their norm of always inviting me to their home every new year and I am always failing to visit them.

We went there together and we were given drinks and food to eat although my friend did not eat because she had already eaten before we left the house. We did not stay there for long because it was getting late, so we headed out.

She took me to one of the best and biggest eateries in our state called Tropicana and then we headed to Market Square and I bet I was in awe when I entered the building.

The whole place was crowded with families, friends, and lovers coming to spend some time together.

The whole place was filled to the brim that they were no space for people to sit, some people had to stand outside while they waited for their order or wait for someone to stand up so they can sit.

My friend who never likes crowded places decided we should go to the market square to get some things before we look for a better place to sit.

We got in and we were asked to drop our bags before entering, we got our basket and we began the shopping. We got ice cream and a few snacks while she got biscuits, I got myself chicken because I am not a fan of the kinda biscuits I saw there.

I just couldn't help but take pictures of how the place looked like and I got so many pictures that I could not choose which one to drop here.

My friend does know me well, I am not an outdoor person but going out with my friends most especially this particular friend of mine is always fun

I mean, I love to spend most of my days and weeks indoors but going out with her is always fun and a memorable one.

Did I tell you'll that was my first day visiting such a place, although I have heard a lot about that place I was glad I visited that place and it was great.

It was indeed a fun day for me and I hope to visit that place soon.
