It's All Yours To Carry
Every day I wake up with this mindset that my life is my responsibility, it gives me a reason to stand up tall and make choices with the mindset that my life is my responsibility.
No one else is responsible for how you choose to show up in the world, as soon as you accept that, you take your power back.

Imagine a guy who has a passion to study Soil Science under Agriculture Science in school only to move to Health Information Management saying that his mother asked him to do that because there are no job opportunities again in the country.
Don't get me wrong, his mom has a point in this because it is true that there are no job opportunities in the country and doing health, one could get the opportunity to work anywhere but notwithstanding, that isn't his plan. He planned to study Soil Science but ended up studying Health Management, what has soil science got to do with health management, I sat down thinking but he wasn't bothered about what he was asked to do because the idea came from his mother.
When we fail to realize that our life is our responsibility, our success is our responsibility, our failure is our responsibility, our reaction is our responsibility, our behaviour is our responsibility our action is our responsibility, our choice is our responsibility, and that no one else is responsible for what happens in our life, we gain the power to make right choices and follow our passion.
Our life is all ours to carry and no one else, and as soon as we accept that idea, we will not put our lives in other people's hands to manage or make choices for us because it is all ours, and no one else.
Stop putting your life in someone else's hand to handle for you, stop giving them the right to make decisions in your life, stop giving them the power over your life because it is your responsibility.
Wake up, and decide to take responsibility for your life because it is all yours to carry. Don't be afraid to take responsibility for your life because it is yours, make chooses regarding your life, and don't be afraid to do that. It is your life and you alone know what's best for you because it is your life.
You know your passion, you know your hobby, you know your talent, gift, and the stuff you are made of. Don't put your life in other people's hands, get your power back and make your life worth it.

You are indeed right but it is a pity that many parents do not know this and always feel what they do for us is the best.
Yeah. They feel its the best probably because that's how it was done in their own time. Forgetting that this is a different century
Hmmm, it's a pity but an eye-opener to many of us who's got parents who let us make out choices even though they are there to guide us through.
