[ESP/ENG] Visitando el Parque del Retiro en Madrid

Hola a todos! Pasé mucho tiempo deseando volver a este lugar y finalmente lo hice, y es que yo pienso que cuando deseamos mucho algo podemos lograrlo, no importa el tiempo que tarde, diez años después estaba allí caminando por el Parque del Retiro en Madrid, España y sin duda fue excelente como la primera vez. Esta vez con una compañía diferente, pero muy especial para mí, que aunque no se vé en las fotos de abajo, fue mi acompañante en todo este viaje, y para empezar nuestro tour juntos decidimos visitar este hermoso parque.

Hello everyone! I spent a lot of time wanting to return to this place and finally I did, and I think that when we really want something we can achieve it, no matter how long it takes, ten years later I was there walking through the Retiro Park in Madrid, Spain and without doubt was excellent as the first time. This time with a different company, but very special to me, which although it is not seen in the photos below, was my companion throughout this trip, and to start our tour together we decided to visit this beautiful park.

Yo soy muy friolenta (no sé si esa palabra existe pero tal vez lo entiendan) y cuando salimos de casa o del hotel, tenía un poco de frío, de hecho mis manos estaban frías, pero más tarde empezó a hacer mucho calor, de hecho estaba haciendo mucho calor en Madrid en el día, sin embargo no fue excusa para que esté primer día fuéramos a pasear por varias sitios que les iré mostrando también más adelante. Pero continuando, al llegar allí, decidimos sentarnos un rato en una de las bancas, solo por un par de minutos mientras terminamos el helado que habíamos comprado antes, luego nos levantamos y pusimos marcha.

I am very cold (I don't know if that word exists but maybe you will understand it) and when we left the house or the hotel, I was a little cold, in fact my hands were cold, but later it started to get very hot, in fact It was very hot in Madrid that day, however it was not an excuse for us to go for a walk on the first day to various places that I will also show you later. But moving on, when we got there, we decided to sit on one of the benches for a while, just for a couple of minutes while we finished the ice cream we had bought earlier, then we got up and started walking.

Lo primero que llamó mi atención y que no recordaba de antes fue la gran puerta verde que vieron arriba, me parecía muy espectacular para hacer geniales fotos. Luego esa pequeña fuente y más naturaleza. Seguidamente la estatua del hombre en el caballo y este si lo recordaba de la primera vez que fuí, lastima que haya perdido mis fotos de mi también gran viaje en el 2011, porque me hubiese gustado mostrarles el antes y el después en este parque tan espectacular y uno de los más importantes en la ciudad de Madrid.

The first thing that caught my attention and that I didn't remember from before was the big green door that you saw above, it seemed very spectacular to me to take great photos. Then that little fountain and more nature. Then the statue of the man on the horse and this if I remembered it from the first time I went, it's a shame I lost my photos of my also great trip in 2011, because I would have liked to show you the before and after in this spectacular park and one of the most important in the city of Madrid.

Después de haber caminado bastante, vimos un restaurante, así que decidimos sentarnos un rato y tomar una cerveza fría para pasar un poco el gran calor que estaba haciendo. Desde allí podíamos observar, a otras personas caminando y otros andando en ese monopatín con ruedas o no se exactamente cuál es su nombre, pero luego de terminar nuestra cerveza, seguimos viendo más de este hermoso parque, recordando cada rincón, sin duda fue una experiencia única, y si vuelvo a Madrid otra vez volvería allí cada vez que pueda.

After having walked quite a bit, we saw a restaurant, so we decided to sit down for a while and have a cold beer to cool off the heat. From there we could see other people walking and others riding that skateboard with wheels or I don't know exactly what its name is, but after finishing our beer, we continued to see more of this beautiful park, remembering every corner, without a doubt it was an experience unique, and if I go back to Madrid again I would go back there whenever I can.

La escultura que ponía Cajal y esa gran ancla por supuesto que las recordaba como si hubiese sido ayer que estaba allí, pero no, fueron diez años. Luego llegamos a la parte que tanto estaba esperando el estanque con el monumento tan espectacular, me encantaba mucho esa vista, incluso ver a otros andar en bote, queríamos hacerlo también, pero la verdad es que decidimos terminar pronto el paseo aquí para ir a ver otros sitios, pero por supuesto primero un par de fotos desde esta perspectiva.

The sculpture that Cajal put up and that great anchor, of course, he remembered them as if it had been yesterday that he was there, but no, it was ten years. Then we arrived at the part that I was waiting for so long, the pond with the spectacular monument, I loved that view a lot, even seeing others boating, we wanted to do it too, but the truth is that we decided to end the walk here soon to go see other sites, but of course first a couple of photos from this perspective.

Me encantó mucho este lugar, quería quedarme más tiempo allí disfrutando del ambiente, pero ya pronto buscaríamos la salida pero mientras llegamos hasta allí seguíamos observando las esculturas y disfrutando un poco de la música que tocaban algunas personas que estaban allí. Finalmente llegamos al final del recorrido de este gran Parque, que está en el top de mis sitios favoritos de Madrid y que por supuesto les recomiendo, hay muchas áreas verdes, y más cosas de las que podrás disfrutar si te gustan este tipo de sitios, el cual es increíble para mí.

I loved this place a lot, I wanted to stay there longer enjoying the atmosphere, but soon we would look for the exit but while we got there we kept looking at the sculptures and enjoying a bit of the music played by some people who were there. Finally we reach the end of the route of this great Park, which is at the top of my favorite places in Madrid and of course I recommend it, there are many green areas, and more things that you can enjoy if you like this type of place, which is amazing to me.

Finalmente llegamos a la salida o más bien era la entrada, pero era el final de nuestro recorrido, y luego de allí fuimos a la Puerta de Alcalá, la cuál también recordaba muy bien de la primera vez que estuve allí, y también quería un par de fotos allí pero para ello tuvimos que esperar que otras turistas que estaban allí terminarán sus fotos para luego ir a hacer las mías pues Madrid está lleno de muchos turistas ya que es una ciudad muy bonita.

We finally got to the exit or rather it was the entrance, but it was the end of our journey, and then from there we went to Puerta de Alcalá, which I also remembered very well from the first time I was there, and I also wanted a pair of photos there but for that we had to wait for other tourists who were there to finish their photos and then go to take mine because Madrid is full of many tourists since it is a very beautiful city.
