Breathing New Life into Valuable Tokens with ONEUP

As soon as I found out about the new ONEUP project from well-respected Hive veteran Flauwy, I had to get involved. He's been around from the early days of our prior home on the blockchain, and has now built an interesting new space related to gaming on Hive.

1 Platform to rule them all...

I've found out about a number of new gaming ventures from the posts he shares on the ONEUP platform, including a partnership with the Hive.Pizza guys who gave a very memorable presentation at HiveFest 2021. I picked up 500 PIZZA tokens to reach the level of a Senior Delivery Driver, and don't plan on stopping there! But what really caught my eye, was the utility offered in their Curation-Cartel which provides new functionality for some of those tokens we've been stacking along the way.

In fact, what they've done gives us another way to put those stacked tokens to work generating even more crypto for the savvy investor. The cartel presents a basket of over a dozen (and growing) curation accounts where we can re-energize our crypto with the power of the ONEUP brand. Supporting everything from their own bespoke ONEUP token, and including the likes of STP, LEO, CTP and many others.

This has had the effect of causing me to buy in to some of these tokens so that I could support the community even more. While this isn't investment advice, it did allow me to look through my crypto holdings and find some new uses for tokens I had available.

I'm a gamer, and I know a lot of other people who are as well. From Splinterlands to PsyberX, there are plenty of options for the crypto enthusiast. This is a good way for a busy student (like me) or a worker to support great content creators on Hive when we're not available for manual curation.

I like where this project is going and appreciate the opportunity that the Oneup Cartel offers. Blogging on Hive and LeoFinance has never been better, and the power of ONEUP helping to ignite the fuse into what will be a kick-ass 2022. I. Can't. Wait!

I like the energy in both !PIZZA and OneUp and have added small bags of both of them. I don't have time to be as active as I'd like but from what I've seen, both are building active communities which is a basic fundamental of growing your token. It will be interesting to see how these develop over the next couple years. It will obviously take time for them to be able to differentiate themselves from just being a fun HIVE tribe to a token that has some use-cases and can stand on its own, but, as I said, building a strong community is where it starts and I think they're both doing a good job of that so far.

I'm in tge same boat here with 3 classes this semester, while also working at times. But then I saw Flauwy was behind it, and remembered him from that other spot on the blockchain 5 years ago. The PIZZA guy really had his stuff together during HiveFest and that stayed with me as well. Community really does matter, and we have that in spades on LeoFinance and Hive. Thanks for the slice! :)

Right back at you! I love the utility it has for some of the crypto I had just sitting in my wallet doing nothing. I was able to put them to work with the Curation-Cartel, and watch those dividends roll in day after day.

I agree. The oneup team is always doing a lot of research and they are also adding in more features/games to look at.

I jumped into two of the #BeeSwap liquidity pools-- SWAP.HIVE and LEO-- during this dip to take advantage. I think ONEUP is an obvious winner when it comes to clear use cases. I !LUV seeing the initiative and effort.

I took a look at them too and may jump in when I have more free assets available. They offer so many different options where one can participate, and really have their finger on the pulse of what's happening with gaming on the blockchain. Thanks for the LUV! :)
