Awww, lol. I like your string of dolphins/Hive metaphor, though! If you want some houseplant advice, I'd say you almost always have to repot any plants you buy right away because they usually let them get root bound in the store (it looked like that one was still in the store pot). For succulents, there is a specific soil that is better for them rather than general potting mix as well. I had a succulent curse for YEARS but then I finally broke it and now I have some jade doing well! 😊

That's a great idea. I am going to remember that...I am still learning about plants & it can be pretty involved since every plant is unique. One set of watering & feeding rules can change drastically from one to the other. Even in the succulents, which surprised me a bit.

Sad to say, all my plants are dead now. SO, I have to start all over! LMAO. Thank God I have a discount membership at the Nursery near me. They will probably warn their plants about me! 😂🤣

Thanks for the advice & I am glad your Jade is doing well! Those are beautiful plants 😀💚

Oh for sure! It's definitely a learning process. I have some books on houseplants that have helped me a lot, but I've killed many plants over the years too, sadly. There are so many variables!
Here's the jade maybe a year ago or so? She got really big and then she had a bout of root rot, which I cleared up and separated her into different pots. So now she has this main pot and a second little pot of babies that sprouted form that time.

Oh wow, that's beautiful! You did a really great job in keeping her healthy & separating the healthy parts. :) It's amazing how plants do thrive in such different conditions.

Well, someday I will get it right. As I said in the video, I won't stop trying. Succulents are probably the only ones I have a chance with at the moment but we will see lolol 💚
