Governments don't like bitcoin because bitcoin takes away their power to rule people. If bitcoin reaches the point of being accepted by everyone, the government will have to negotiate with people if they want to continue to exist.
Some people were upset when tesla stopped accepting bitcoin ... But in my view it doesn't matter, if bitcoin reaches the masses who will need to accept bitcoin whether they want to or not, it will be the companies...

This is true although it is bigger than just Bitcoin. They do not like the entire digital peer-to-peer arena since it takes away their control.
