Does money buy true happiness and satisfaction? If yes, then how much do you sell your happiness and if no! Then is satisfaction gotten through poverty.

The truth is that out true nature is unveiled gradually as the day goes by and as we get experienced in life and life's journey. Since we're wired differently, so is our way of coming out of boredom differs.

To some, what causes boredom in their life is when there's no money in their pockets. A times it even those people to get bored with feverish tendencies that no one can cure. While to others, they're bored when their loved ones go on long trips, probably for a job that'll take a longer time for them to see them.

So my question comes this way, is money the true cure for boredom?

This question will take us to the focus of my post today, which is boredom in the midst of plenty. Have you ever been among friends and family and everywhere is busy but you're just asking yourself, when will this gathering end so I could just leave this place. This is the same you that love interacting and feeling so excited when you're among family and friends!

This means that boredom also come like mood swings. This is usually seen amongst pregnant women. A pregnant woman can be happy this minute and become bored the next minute.

In any event, money is one of the cures of boredom, but not the cure of it. I'm using a definite article 'the' because there are one man's meat is another man's poison.

Having money like I've said earlier can bring satisfaction to some people, while to others, it doesn't.

What is the true cure for boredom

• engaging in what you're passionate about
  Passion is everything in life. Many are still unfulfilled in life because they engage in things that just give them their daily bread. A person can have all the money in this world and still be the most bored person.

I know a friend who got married to a very wealthy man but she was and still passionate about career and sometimes I describe her as a workaholic. Her marriage to this man, who has all she needed to live a comfortable life without any struggle, brought great boredom to get entire existence.

The first trap she entered was to resign from her work during the marriage preparation and was offered 3x her earnings on a monthly basis. This earnings came with a price tag, which is to stop pursuing her career since there's money to take care of her and pay her more than any firm could.

Immediately, she accepted that faith, she became the most bored person on earth. This means that one can have money in abundance and still be bored.

• being contented with what you have
  Some people's boredom arises from lack of being contented with their current stage in life. I'm not saying that one shouldn't aim higher in life, what I'm saying is that one should not be covetous in aiming for something higher in life. Life is in stages and is also a school that you need to move from grade one before grade two.

• satisfaction is selfmade
  I believe that happiness is a state of mind and if this is so, being satisfied is also a state of mind. To be satisfied, you must be intentional about it. If money, family and friends cannot cure your boredom, then the solution is within you.

Finally, the way I cure boredom is to do what I'm passionate about and to make myself happy in the mist of sadness. What are you passionate about, try it to see if it'll cure your boredom.
