Financial Report #4

Whole lot of talking!

Scrapping all my plans regarding axie so I can buy 3 reptiles or similar pures instead. I get the point of the axie economy in general now, so my first step is owning a reptile breeding farm. Of course, I don't even have the money for that, so I'll have to save up. That's like 2.2k usd - quite a lot for me. I've got 12 AXS saved up though, so as soon as I can get my hands on them, my wallet is getting a big boost. Yay, can't wait. Ugh. Not having enough money for this straight away absolutely sucks.

Since I understand a lot of crypto stuff lately, all I had needed to get my wallet rolling was like 2k usd. I had half of that then I borrowed another half, and I've been on a roll ever since. You know how they say it, money makes money. Nothing better to make money than money itself! So I need money, money money money. But I still need to save. Invest in something more long-term. Got some cake, sunk it in a pool. Gonna leave it there for several months, compounding or adding some change to it once in a while. Then buy physical stuff with it.

Financial variety is key. I've kickstarted my own game development project! It's a crossword for kids + pixelated childrens fairy tale that's going to be on play store (and maybe steam?) in a couple of months. That's right, I've already arranged everything. Unity programmer, artist, story writer and enough money to pay for it. Risky af, but it might work out really well. It's not exactly going to be the 2d action packed sandbox platformer with infinite open world without RPG elements of my dreams, but it's a start.

Splinterlands? I'm botting. What they did, stinks. The dev team breaks tokennomics on a whim so I'll just do whatever is more profitable to me instead of respecting it as an actual game. I got 1500 SPS staked and that's all I'm going to stake until the next feature is implemented. Whatever it is, it can be changed on a whim, so I'm not going to save up any money or keep anything invested unless it's the most profitable thing to do. SPS from the airdrops? Selling. Card drops? Renting or selling. No way I'm playing it myself for now.

I'm still active in Rising Stars, but I'm just grinding XP until I hit 50 then I'll focus solely on STARBITS until I have the millionaire requirements. I think it's a good goal that opens up quite a few options from there on, but it's all right if I don't think about it right now. Regardless, it's a joyful little idle game that I intend to keep playing.

Proof of brain? A lot of people keep whining about its price, but it's fine, you know? It's high. I don't see the problem. When there really is a problem and it's almost too late, people will finally mobilize. But eh it's fine. It's been a good investment, it seems it'll continue to be. I'm at 1700+ staked pob and I intend to keep growing my stake over time. So far, it's a good project in which I enjoy participating.

I got out of INDEX. I needed the money! There were buyers, I was in a hurry. You know how it is, you can't expect me to keep a long-term investment when my budget isn't a zillion dollars. I might buy back in eventually, but there are a few tokens coming from INDEX that I don't really see them as something with a bright future, so maybe I'll leave it alone for now. But the yield seems a lot better than holding stocks, so I think it's generally a positive project.
